When this year's round of unsuspecting Northerners fail to show up for their annual Guts N' Glory Jamboree, the residents of Pleasant Valley take their cannibalistic carnival on the road and head to Iowa where they encounter spoiled heiresses Rome & Tina Sheraton and the cast and crew of their "Road Rascals" reality show. (gb) wrote: U dont have to have seen the anime before seeing this movie. their are references that you wont get but its no big deal. they only show some flashback to episode one of the anime. the music is pertty good and the animation is even better. The one bad thing is that you now whats going to happen before it happens.

(ca) wrote: It was interesting to watch this film after watching the painful episodes of P.G. The movie actually turned out better than I had expected. The dialogue seemed unnatural in many places, especially between the two young boys. What saved this movie was solid performances by Hunt, Quinn, and Pollack. I do have to give Pete Jones credit, however, for taking on this huge task of being a first time director...it wasn't easy.
(fr) wrote: Pleasant but hardly profound film, although Rachel Roberts delivers a stunning performance and the little it has to say about prejudice is certainly for the best, although perhaps not the focus of the film that it could have been.
