Tor M (ru) wrote: A quite intense, short little film about a family man trying to get his revenge on a prankster terrorising his family. It got som great camera angles, great lightening, long shots and it's very delicate to watch. It feels quite believable. It's based on a true story so I guess that's stating that. All right acting and the pace is fine. It's always interesting and there are no moments where I fell off. This is no action film, but rather a psychological film about murder. A solid film.7 out of 10 blood sugar testers.

Ernie T (br) wrote: Admittedly, I have not seen the first entry in the Wolf Creek series, but I had heard good things. Against my better judgment, I decided to watch the sequel first possibly swaying me to never even attempt the original. This is just trite and generic horror at its best. How many times has this tale been told? In the fright flick realm, there is originality that occurs once maybe ever five years at best, and then there is a mountain built out of messes like this abomination.I could not tell if I were watching House of a Thousand Corpses, any iteration of a Texas Chainsaw Massacre film (please stop making those by the way), The Hills Have Eyes, etc. Generic psycho in the middle of nowhere that terrorizes youngsters will put one to sleep if your head contains half a brain that is. If you are one of those mindless zombies that enjoy anemic horror, then, you will squeal with delight as the antihero, Mick Taylor, hunts his victims with wild abandon and no motive well accept to "keep Australia beautiful". I will give it one thing, and that is the gore is fantastic, and that is the sole redeeming quality.Overall, it is an idea that is as boring and dusty as the Outback itself. Maybe someone should clear the cobwebs and blow the dust off the horror genre, but then the rabid fans whom support this drivel will never cease with their whining.I leave you with this bit of dialog that sums up how the movie made me feel.Paul: "So it's sort of like 'Who Wants To Be a Millionaire'?"Mick Taylor: "Yeah! Except you don't get to phone a friend if you get one wrong because you'll be too busy screaming in fucking agony!"This movie left me wanting to phone a friend to relieve some of the sheer boredom and agony that watching this some old trope again left me feeling.

Tyler S (gb) wrote: I liked this movie. I loved some of the cameos like Duvall and Mcgraw. Im a Vince Vaughn fan so im partially bias but I thought a lot of the scenarios were funny. Its what the title implies, they go to four different xmasrs. They spend the holiday at various members of each others familes and a lot of the scenes are very entertaining.

Adam R (mx) wrote: Not as bad as the third Air Bud movie, but enough is enough. I'm not watching any other movies in the series after this. The point where I see Buddy playing Major League Baseball for the Angels is when I throw in the towel. (First viewing - Teen years)

M M (es) wrote: Good biopic on the Papin Sisters. It gives a better understanding about their lives and behavior with a clear depiction of the actual murder.

Michael B (ag) wrote: This is an excellent tribute to Mingus's extraordinary genius. While it treats his life (there's amazing footage of his early career) the focus is--as it should be--his work. The scene with Eric Dolphy is breathtaking. Also some great shots of Ellington and interviews with many musicians including John Handy and George Adams.

Manami K (br) wrote: I was very attracted with story itself. It is very unique??structure is exceptional! Actors and actresses who played in this movie are all talented. mitani koki is amazing! I love his works very much!

Michael D (fr) wrote: An excellent football related movie that has plenty for a wider audience, this was filmed in Auxerre with the legendary Guy Roux as football advisor and the magnificent Patrick Dewaere as the Cantona-esque hot-head of the title. Great fun.

Yuki A (us) wrote: I regret for abandoning this such masterpiece for a long time (3 years maybe). Lina Wertmuller hits a love story with the most basic nature of people needs. A poor man and a rich woman are stranded in an uninhibited island, trying to survive, falling in love but not in an easy way. Wertmuller who is known to be leftist but not a feminist, shocks me with how she treats her woman character. Can we live with only love and the will to survive without money? She close the movie with word "fine" tragically contradicting the power of love and money

Stephen C (kr) wrote: Director Howard Hawks freely admited two things with this camp epic, one was he didnt like widescreen all that much and second that he didnt know how a Phrahaoh talked ,which is why he called on celebrated writer William Faulkner to lend his pen to the script.Hawks seems to have his tongue firmly in his cheek as some of the dialogue and acting simply reeks of camp.Thats not to say its a terrible film, the one thing you can always rely on Hawks to do is to keep ypu interested and despite all the camp you really get a idea how pyramids were constructed al those years ago.Jack Hawkins makes a great Pharoh dying a noble death ,James Robertson Justice gets a serious role to get his teeth into for a change and Joan Collins gets to play and Uber biitch queen who gets her just deserts in the end.Of course its all a bit silly, but the film left me feeling that i was in the hands of one of the greatest Hollywood directors of the studio system.

Wade P (fr) wrote: Not too bad...I just didn't get the significance of the Oceola in the story. Humphrey the Hero did it again....woohoo.

Jude P (us) wrote: So powerful and intense. A tapestry of American hoi polloi.

Cliff M (ca) wrote: The first time I saw this movie I couldn't make out if it was a kids movie, a thriller, a horror or a comedy...but it blends it so imaginatively. And yes, for a split second, I did believe dinosaurs were still alive!

Lady D (br) wrote: Interesting story but very slow. Lots of just walking through the woods. Disappointing ending.
