Mad M (de) wrote: Acting was superb, especially the children. By no means is it riveting; instead it is pleasant and presents a fresh story. The film successfully delves into complex issues and manages to simplify them enough for children to understand.
Gabriel K (kr) wrote: An art movie in every sense, featuring beautiful cinematography, vibrant colors, and elaborate sets that look more like paintings than real-life locations (intentionally so). The dialogue is sharp and witty, with a dose of black humor typical to Greenaway movies. Unfortunately, the story is a bit muddled and not easy to follow. Peter Greenaway fans would love this movie, not so sure about the rest of the audience.

Russell H (us) wrote: Extremely well acted from an amazing cast. So much going on and all brought together seamlessly. Over three hours but doesn't seem like it all. I've seen it twice now and I usually don't like long movies.
David S (jp) wrote: Phone Booth is a surprisingly interesting and exciting movie, considering its one location and simplistic script. Carried by Farrell's well styled acting and the sympathetic yet intelligent charisma of Whitaker, it creates an enticing drama that paces well. Flirting with plot holes and plot ideas that are deliberately out of place, there are aspects that are hard to believe, but as it is, Phone Booth is nice entertainment on an average night.
Chris D (es) wrote: I actually like the second movie best, "The Chronicles of Riddick." I have to give it an extra half star, just because Riddick is so freaking bada$$.
