Kinda gut wrenching just to watching the boredom and normality of their lives knowing that this is likely all they are ever going to get. The fact that they are alive is supposed to be all they should hope for. Now I'll go and Google them and find out they are now drinking Chrystal out of Saddam's gold boots or something. Well, here's to hoping. Great movie even if you are not into metal.

(au) wrote: For me this is the best sequel of all time. Real humans and real danger. Beautiful cinematography and mind blowing music score. Dillon is my favorite antihero from trilogy. Hi is after Ripley the strongest character in ALIEN movies. I love every minute of this movie. Editing was perfect. Now in this days hollywood makes movies with similar endings like LOGAN and peoples loves it. I don't get it why they hate this movie. It's more creative then other Alien movies.

What she finds is something she totally doesn't suspect - a family who kills people to feed a race of underground dwelling monsters. Now she has to find a way to fight back or become lunch for the creatures. Most of the time I really appreciate the French horror genre ("Frontiers," "Martyrs," and "Inside" immediately come to mind), but "The Pack" is hardly blockbuster. Charlotte is supposed to be this kick butt chick but cries most of the time, the monsters aren't scary in the slightest, and the pacing of the film is ridiculous. The first third was good, but after that it just dragged on until the ending came and I didn't even care.

(ru) wrote: A tragic chase film about the annihilation of the warrior at the hands of a domesticated world. Could have been scripted by jared diamond himself. Told from the viewpoint of the last apache holdout, the film is made all the more interesting, one could argue, by casting the highly made-up Burt Lancaster as Massai, the intemperate rogue. Aldrich directs a year before the similarly apocolyptic, Kiss Me Deadly.
