Ryan C (nl) wrote: Pretty good story, I could see people only liking it if they liked basketball. Lebron could do some amazing things so young

Richard M (br) wrote: This movie made my senior year of high school a year to remember. The acting was well performed and a story line to never forget. Slow and had it's flaws but new faces did an exceptional job pursuing the good the film displayed. I liked it but it did have it's so so parts.

Drew S (ru) wrote: Foo is the man...I truly like him better than Tony J. The second one is Not nearly as good?

Kate T (gb) wrote: Great soundtrack. Although it meanders a bit it's well worth sitting through.

John Y (nl) wrote: It is criminal that this movie is reviewed so low. The themes this movie deals with alone make it beyond worth watching. Chappie has fascination, curiosity, and endearing moments. I LOVE this movie.

Zohra B (it) wrote: This movie reminds me of renting movies over the weekend, and one is a wild card. You never know what silly, taboo material you may stumble upon. I love that about QT films.

Muffin M (nl) wrote: Dr. Jed Hill (Alec Baldwin) is an eminent doctor and the new head surgeon at Westerly Hospital. Confident and highly skilled, Jed quickly establishes himself as a medical whiz with miracle hands. But that's not all he is. When newlywed, Tracy Safian (Nicole Kidman), is admitted to hospital requiring emergency surgery, Jed defiantly performs an unneccsary operation which leaves her unable to ever have children. Hit with a $20 million law suit, the real Jed starts to reveal himself. He believes he is more than a brilliant surgeon beyond reproach. Dr. Hill says he is God with the power to determine who lives, who dies and no one, but him, can do a damn thing about it. But Tracy and her husband Andy (Bill Pullman) have other ideas. also stars Babe Neuwirth, George C. Scott, Anne Bancroft, Peter Gallagher, Josef Sommer and Tobin Bell. directed by Harold Becker.

Byron B (it) wrote: As a matter of background let me say that I read Ring Lardner Jr.'s I'd Hate Myself in the Morning: A Memoir in college. Ring Lardner Jr. was also one of the Hollywood Ten, so this was a black mark on Hollywood history that I was somewhat familiar with. Also after seeing this straightforward biopic about the true tarnished Golden Age of Hollywood, I listened to the talking book I Am Spartacus!: Making a Film, Breaking the Blacklist by Kirk Douglas and read by Michael Douglas. The ensemble cast tells this often glossed over story with zeal. Elle Fanning, Diane Lane, Louis C.K., and Michael Stuhlbarg stand out. The scenes that contrast Christian Berkel's Otto Preminger and Dean O'Gorman's Kirk Douglas as two men who are willing to hire Trumbo to write their screenplays are fun. Of course Bryan Cranston as Dalton Trumbo is excellent and demands your attention throughout. Are you now or have you ever been a _________?
