Johnathon W (au) wrote: Superbly crafted film that works as both a classic film noir & a biting satire of Hollywood. Robbins gives one of his best lead performances, playing Mill with the right mix of charm & intelligence, that even when he does horrible things you find yourself rooting for him to get away with it. Altman direction is equally excellent, balancing the immense cast (along with numerous celebrities playing themselves, which gives it a feel of authenticity) while getting the plot moving along & you guessing what's going to happen next. One of Altman's finest films, which by default makes it a classic.

Michael C (mx) wrote: It's a shame that Tai Chi series was produced in such a fashion. Because I personally see great potential from the script itself. However, the problem is that there's just too much in this movie, as a result every element was quickly introduced and discarded making the movie feels too compact and claustrophobic; the phrase less is more definitely could applied here. Lastly, I'd just like to point out that despite the movie being called "Tai Chi Zero", I really wish there could be way more Tai Chi action scene in it.

Tino P (mx) wrote: Its timely premise and tightly wound mystery make for a gripping documentary.

Steven W (kr) wrote: I was insanely entertained by this. It was nice to see a Canadian movie without the use of tired old cliches. Ok there were a couple but done well. Plus the violence was super realistic.

Brigitte M (ru) wrote: Beautiful documentary following the journey of a Toronto film maker on a mission to save the SHARKS! It make me want to cry and fight for them and it just makes you see sharks in a new light which I think it extremely important. This fear that sharks have made people feel is irrational since they only kill 3 people a year haha. Go Sharks!

Rose L (nl) wrote: A real piece of shit. Don't bring religion into a film if you can't back up the goods.

Sam W (jp) wrote: A classic Clancy tale of politics and action with good performances from the cast. Told in a straightforward manner, this is effectively done entertainment, although the ending is too drawn out.

Andrew M (es) wrote: One of my favorite movies. Whoopi Goldberg is everything to me because of this movie.

Daniel W (jp) wrote: i love godard, but i find that somewhere in the mid-70s he became overly verbose and cryptic. a boring movie.

Louis D (mx) wrote: Opting for conciseness and a more aggressive tone helps to aid Return of the Seven in avoiding competition with the epic masterpiece that is its forerunner. Larry Cohen's script returns to some of Magnificent Seven's original themes, particularly in regard to the beneath-the-surface similarities between farmer and gunslinger (illustrated particularly well in the indecisiveness of Chico - the wild gunman who fell in love and became a farmer in the first installment). In lieu of Steve McQueen, Cohen and Kennedy offer the talents of Warren Oates and Claude Akins, making for an entertaining view despite the absence of classic status. Also, dynamite throwing!
