Chris M (gb) wrote: Sadly so much talent wasted by a very bland script.

Atul R (ca) wrote: What a crap movie and waste of time. Music is horrible.

Antony D (mx) wrote: Very beautiful, some gorgeous set pieces focusing on the within rather than the without. Good transition from the old world (Sicily) as spacious, wild, free across the treachery of the ocean to the new world (New York) where life is constraining, imprisoning, judgmental. Characters never develop well enough to be more than two dimensional, but a fine piece nonetheless.

Christopher L (gb) wrote: Starring: Dan Aykroyd, Lily Tomlin, Jack Lemmon, and Bonnie Hunt.Written and Directed by Harvey Miller.Rated R (for some sexual situations).Running time approximately 1 hour 31 minutes. Dreadful and offensive only begin to describe the inescapably repugnant experience of watching Getting Away with Murder. The cast is so darned good, but nothing (not, not a single bloody thing) could ever have redeemed this trash from its undying status as one of the worst comedies ever made. I hate this movie. I've seen it once, and it was a long time ago, but I still stand offended. Bleh. * (out of ****) D

Ruth G (nl) wrote: A good horror film with lots of electricity. Renny Harlin; director of The Deep Blue Sea, The Covenant, and Cliffhanger were postfilms of this great mans work. Although he speaks a little too quietly in this movie, Mortensen adds to this film by doing a fine job.

Sonya P (jp) wrote: This was such a hot movie in it's day.... I recently watched it, still dramatic, but the funniest thing is the party in Jay's condo... (Randy Quaid) so funny... he was classic back then too! Cherie Curry, Jodie Foster and the mish-mash of teen idolsomethings. Some of the elements were so silly now that I am a parent of a teen.... rather silly I must say.

James H (kr) wrote: Fun and dramatic, most enjoyable.
