I don't see the positive on how Europe made great benefits without him not mentioning the extraction of resources and colonization of Africa. Europe's wealth came from Africa. The power of financial market is determined by international gold exchange and politcal power. I'm not an economist that knows the math and graphs. It doesn't take a Harvard educated person to know that for country to have more GNP and another country to have less or is force into financial debt due to sanctions to eliminate the competition. European countries was always at war with eachother. Trading became difficult, but not with countries that were allies and colonize. I didn't like the films western view and watch it many times and even read the book. Wasn't bad, wasn't good! I would recommend watching it. It is educational and distorted.

Brandon W (it) wrote: Billy Madison is Adam Sandler's first movie as a writer with SNL writer Tim Herlihy that turned out to be a decent film that is a bit forgettable. Adam Sandler's voice that he does is not annoying, but I can understand why people would think that. The plot is predictable and you seen this a million times, but at least this movie actually has a plot unlike Adam Sandler's recent films like Grown Ups with an exception of some films that he's done. 70% of the film has funny jokes, while the remaining percent of it has awkward jokes, or just too weird for me to find it funny. The acting is fine, and so is the chemistry between Billy Madison and Veronica, even though I've seen this type of chemistry before and they don't do anything funny with it. Billy Madison is a harmless comedy with enough fun and sweet moments that is not as bad as a movie that I watched after this which is Grown Ups 2.
Scot Q (it) wrote: Not the best gangster movie I have seen and not the worst. I think I actually disagree with most critics as I enjoyed Loren Dean in the title role, to me the character was meant to be played that way, intuitive street smarts, quiet confidence all blended with naievite. I loved Nicole Kidman, her character was a hot flapper and socialite and Hoffman was okay. The highlights of this film were the time spent in the country, buying off the local population - priceless. I would recommend this movie if you like the gangster genre, but if you haven't seen most of the ones like Godfather, anything with Pacino or Miller's Crossing, go there first.
