Matt C (ca) wrote: Bizarre high praise for this Aardman effort, it has no chance of making a regular yuletide appearance at our house I'm afraid. It's a bit too long and fails really to be either funny enough or sentimental enough. Felix was bored and asked me a couple of times it it had 'nearly finished'. It's no 'Polar Express', sorry!

Driskoll X (nl) wrote: If you go into this expecting a hybrid cartoon(Mario Cart)/live action kid's movie, you will walk away with a great experience. While not better than WALL-E, Speed Racer was better than any other contemporary Disney live action, and especially better than Disney's hybrid, Enchanted. This is an amazing kid's movie that I would recommend to any parent.

Konrad A (gb) wrote: This movie was fantastic and exciting it had a good plot and new characters. This movie is a Mistry movie try to figure out who Bat Woman could be! I like the villain named Penguin and Bane they make good villains especially penguin I like penguin a lot I like how he has a place called the iceberg lounge where people can eat. Now something about Penguin that I find cool is he has an umbrella all the time with him and you would think it's a umbrella but really it's a gun I think like it makes a good disguise thinking that penguin does not have weapons but really he does. So will Batman find out who Bat woman is? And can Batman stop his enemies? All that can be revealed when you see the movie!

Tanner B (it) wrote: Hoop Dreams (1994) ????One of the greatest documentaries of all-time, a mesmerizing odyssey of the lives of two Chicago boys who dream of professional basketball. So rich in emotion it actually starts to become drama, even though it's real. Also, it cannot be predicted since no writer could devise the stunning events that happen. A fascinating, heartbreaking study, whether you're interested in sports or not. Long but extremely worthwhile; the highest recommendation given. Evidently, this was not nominated the Oscar for Best Documentary but was instead nominated for Editing, even though the Academy complained about the length! In any event, a triumph.

Dan M (nl) wrote: As with all of Michael Moore's documentaries, there's a big time agenda he's trying to push and for the most part I agree with what he's trying to say in just about all of them. Here it's more like "America really sucks at doing things lately, look at Europe.. they're so much better than us". It's pretty much to the point where it's like, ok.. I get it already, we suck at stuff. Although it's not like the rest of the world is so much better, each country has its issues, but here you only see one side to the coin in just about everything presented here which I gotta say, is a letdown.
