Uriel G (de) wrote: Troy is a good show of special effects, battle scenes and an epic atmosphere that makes it an enjoyable experience. However, it fails to want to "adapt" the story of the Iliad in addition to presenting some flat characters that come and go without pain or glory in the film.

Sam R (kr) wrote: Important for the mind, assuring for the soul, and a great laugh inducer for the body.

Kerby H (br) wrote: I actually really liked this. The football scenes are great, and the whole thing was pretty funny.

Jessi t (mx) wrote: You know, I'm never expecting to see Willem DaFoe naked.

Jacob R (ag) wrote: Now I love movies, I really enjoy action movies, but this....Oh my! This IS one of the worst movies of all times. Mindbogglingly dumb, full of cliches and a meaningless ending. Why so many people adore this waste of time and money, I'll never understand.A typical Bay-affair. Still waiting for him to just release a movie with 90 minutes of just explosions!

Karine L (gb) wrote: I saw this film as a kid (dubbed in french) and i liked it a lot.. saw it again recently (i'm now 27) and this movie is still great. A little slow in the beginning, Rufus is almost the only one that got a career after this and i don't get why Tommy Tricker has his name in the title when it clearly revolves more around Ralph. Anyway.. good story, great fun and makes you want to travel!

Kaare D (gb) wrote: This is the worst movie I have ever seen. It should have negative stars. Watch this movie and you are putting your intelligence, your life, indeed your very soul at risk!

Valerie E (ag) wrote: Okay, so the ONLY good part about this movie was the fact that Cary Grant was in it.

Andrew R (au) wrote: Killing Jesus is all over the place and suffers from confusing scenes with no explanations. The cast is good, the acting is okay but it was not executed as good as it could have been. It is not like the original Jesus story and changes the story. In this film he seems ordinary. It seemed all wrong until one off the priests wants Jesus's tomb guarded because he is afraid that his followers will remove him from the tomb to make it seem like he has been ressurected. Then the message is clear. What if Jesus was ordinary and not divine? Now its interesting The problem is that it is too little too late.

Jonathan M (gb) wrote: Fucking horrible movie. Each cliche is worse than the next. Reeves proves here that a loaf of bread could have played in his role, and nothing would have changed at all. Also, that little kid verbally abused me throughout the whole film. Everything he said scratched the inside of my eardrums and made me vomit. However, the scene with the giant fake looking cobra and where the lady makes out with a baby elephant are some of the funniest unintentional things a movie has ever shown me.

Brad G (it) wrote: "As a child movies are not good or bad, they're just movies." That brief quote from one of this docs many talking heads struck me hard. That pretty much sums up my current outlook towards cinema and I love that I now have a quote to hang on my insanity. As far as the rest of the documentary, These Amazing Shadows is essential viewing for film fans and even though it's just one big commercial for the National Film Registry, I am totally on board. And who doesn't love hearing Rob Reiner geek out over It's A Wonderful Life or John Waters on The Wizard of Oz or John Singleton on why the Ku Klux Klan love letter Birth of a Nation needs to be preserved.
