The first film I have seen in a long time that made me feel something- the characters are authentic and interesting, and the end product is a wonderfully balanced and nuanced piece of cinema. We need more films that depict multicultural perspectives. Great cast, great film.

The protagonist does throw about two dozen knives without ever picking one up, it's even more comical than never reloading in a bullet ballet. The ending was a little unsatisfying, there are still some huge family issues we need to resolve here.
