The story is somewhat tragic, with bad luck happens all the time to the titular character, Matsuko. But instead of going all sappy "life is a bitch" mode, direcotr Tetsuya nakashima turns this into a highly stylized charming little movie, and spread "fun" everywhere around the corner.very recommended, especially for those who love colorful, quirky movies like Amelie
