John K (nl) wrote: Michael Douglas' overly surly character brings the film down too far to recover. Anyone expecting the usual Rob Reiner film should avoid this one.

Chris A (gb) wrote: More of a love story than a horror story. The kid falls in love with a ghost nothing original about the story but it did have a few twist to the plot. Great cinema photography

Michael M (kr) wrote: It's worth noting that I do agree with the politics that the movie was presenting, and if you don't you're probably not going to enjoy it as much as I did. But beneath the political angst there is also a rather charming road movie here that while not perfect, is an enjoyable trip.

Paul W (es) wrote: What could have been an interesting and unbiased film about Arnie's move into politics, turns out to be a blatant piece of propaganda to discredit Arnold at tabloid level (ok so he was a womaniser as a young man and smoked a joint. We get it. big deal). With manipulated video footage and sound clips, bad editing, quotes so obviously out of context (strangely all the ones against Schwarzenegger are quite coherent and in full), it's a terrible piece of film making. What's most annoying is the Michael Moore type style it tries to copy to give it all a bit more credibility.

Kostya T (au) wrote: The film draws from the first frame and does not let go until the very end credits. Definitely one of the best films in a career not only Sammo Hung, but Jackie Chan. Stunts and fights are delivered at the highest level, and the final fight between the characters of Jackie and world kickboxing champion Benny Urkidezom, I think, one of the best in his career FEB all kinemetagrofe.

Tom H (ru) wrote: A run of the mill disaster movie. Nothing special, but not bad either.

Shane D (it) wrote: At a whopping 3 hours and 7 minutes this is a real struggle. The middle act is basically a gauntlet of unnecessary (yet flashy) action sequence after the other, all the beauty of this film is in the journey to Skull Island, and the closing finale. Might've been helped by wiping a whole hour off the run time.

Tim L (ca) wrote: Whilst the main 'plot' of this one is weak, the jokes are consistently strong and this would certainly make my top ten of Carry On films, if perhaps not my top 5

Natko B (nl) wrote: Fantastic! I really like how the director arranged everything up, from the top class to the smallest soldiers and regular people.

Teddy V (it) wrote: One of the best comedies ever made, and easily Chevy Chase's best film bar none.

Iy L (ca) wrote: Meh. Couldnt really find anything to really hate (besides the outdated cultural references) or like about this movie.
