Indu R (ag) wrote: I thought this movie was great in depicting the true story of the Yang family and what the seven brothers did to rescue their father. The cast was not a great cast, but the action scenes were great.
Jon T (ag) wrote: It's diverting and it certainly discusses a pertinent and interesting topic, but it doesn't have a narrative. There is little to drive it and no clear end point. It has no real purpose other than as a conversation starter. There are no revelations, nothing presented is new to me. It's basically a lot of professional artists talking about what's right in front of everyone. Being objective is fine if you're talking facts, but this is mostly speculation about the future of art and technology and the movie refuses to say anything definitive or outline any real possibilities or hopes. It's just vaguely optimistic I guess. It's a documentary on art and invention that has no ideas.
Arjun N (nl) wrote: The movie is splendind.Friendship, WAR, latest wepons, attacking statergies. All were well calculated and executed. The best part of the movie is the camera angles and the spectacular views the lens portrays. For all the Military Movie lovers, i would suggest this.
Marc S (kr) wrote: What could have been a good movie, based on the premise, is marred by abominable dialogue, wooden acting, and TV Special quality direction. The actor playing the father does a decent, reserved job. How anyone could not have known that Chace is gay, let alone his ROOMMATE, is unfathomable.

Jacob P (es) wrote: It's not often when you are a small kid in a movie theater that you don't want to see any animated movie plopped in front of you. Valiant is one of those movies that has the rare distinction of causing an easily entertained child at the time walk out of the movie theater, notable for being the first film I've walked out on. An ultimately forgettable plot with no tension or drive to hook the viewers in. Also with humor that often falls flat on the floor. I wasn't very picky when I was a kid but this was too much.

Vadim D (es) wrote: Even though the setting and subject matter is timely, something gets lots in this Shakespearean adaptation. Mekhi Phifer and Julia Stiles give very good and realistic performances, however, Josh Hartnett doesn't have the chops to pull off the conniving and scheming energy that his character requires.
Jeff B (us) wrote: Pretty good movie. Kind of takes the twist from A Tale of Two Cities and makes a complete story out of it, setting it in the Reconstruction-era South.

Kyle M (kr) wrote: Before Schwarzenegger became the Terminator, he was a barbarian that pre-heighten his career as an action star. But his acting as one was good, but sometimes mediocre like how the action sequences were mediocrely influenced that resulted heavily bleeding. Putting the violence aside, the film has good production values for an 80s fantasy adventure, including the fitted theme music. With that being said, the film resulted being likable with some enjoyment if you can ignore the violent contents and focus on the stuff that defined the fantasy genre.
