Michelle H (us) wrote: A utterly terrifying, heart wrenching film that will have you jumping out of your seat and screaming in horror!Actually, no. Forget that. Mom and I have a penchant for watching stupid movies, and this one was certainly in that category. With little storyline, forgettable characters, and a lack of anything that was even shiver-inducing.So do yourself a favor. If this.shows up on your TV, turn it off, walk away, and perhaps ponder why such awful scripts get turned into movies.

Ollie W (fr) wrote: A terribly weak, exploitive attempt at supposedly exploring important issues about contemporary society and the consequences of violence, whilst contrarily explicitly and revoltingly revelling in it.A completely half-arsed attempt at doing something different that is admittedly atmospheric, but mostly boring and unpleasant . Avoid.

Nick G (jp) wrote: I knew James Franco could act but never knew he had talent in directing or writing until I watched this film. This movie is a realistic portrayal of what it is like being an addict; trying to clean up when things don't go your way, straining relationships, etc. Some people aren't going to like this film because it has been "done before". However of the movies I have seen that take two siblings and follow the different paths they go down in life, this is clearly one of the better ones. If you can find this little film, definitely watch it!

Larry W (it) wrote: Before Araki started making movies marketed directly at self-involved GenX-ers came The Living End. The lead performances leave much to be desired, but if they were any better the film might actually be unwatchably brutal.

Larry Y (ru) wrote: One of the better Chuck Norris films. Unfortunately, he reworked it into the G-rated Walker Texas Walker.

Gavin H (mx) wrote: Hilarious , nothing else to say about this movie just plain hilarious.

Alec B (gb) wrote: It definitely needed to be longer but the movie remains a deeply sad nostalgia piece that's filled with surprising complexity.

John S (au) wrote: This is one of the worst CGI movies that had a big budget. It just isn't funny, the animation isn't bad, but it is not funny. Cheap Over the Hedge ripoff.

Gordon H (au) wrote: Fun, family flick!Originally written on March 8, 2013--As someone who has loved the original Wizard of Oz classic starring Judy Garland for more than 40 years, I had mixed feelings when I heard that Disney was going to do this prequel story based on the works of L. Frank Baum. But I have to admit, I enjoyed this movie a lot more than I thought I would! Just finding out how the wizard ends up in Oz in the first place, why the Wicked Witch of the West flies on a broom, and what other fantastic places and characters exist in that magical land beyond what is shown in the 1939 MGM musical is a real treat. But the best part of this film is how it doesn't take away anything that has been built up before but rather expounds on it and enhances it in a way that is entirely respectful of Baum's legacy. Fantastic film. Two thumbs up!
