David S (fr) wrote: They finally make a movie about the German occupation of Czechoslovakia, and it's not all that riveting. The buildup is very slow, as is the pace of the whole movie. When the action finally begins, it's done well and the onslaught is intense, but getting there takes quite some patience. I love the attempt to tell this story, I just didn't much like the execution.

Cecily B (kr) wrote: one of my favorite lines of the movie " You don't even get laid in your dreams? That's just sad!" I really liked the idea for this movie and the way that they did it. There were a few things that didn't quite add up for me but I like that they didn't spend a lot of time on the why or the how and just concentrated on the love story. Ending was nice too.

Jesse K (ag) wrote: One of the most unique and messed-up movies I've ever seen. The most surprising thing about Meet The Feebles is how in depth the characters are. We go from a cleverly cliche Vietnam flashback to a drug deal gone horribly wrong. Like someone once said, it's The Muppets meets Conker's Bad Fur Day. A sex-filled musical that even throws some gore in the mix. And of course, who could forget the absolutely insane ending complete with hilarious musical number? The puppetry is top-notch throughout as well. I really don't know what else there is to say about Meet The Feebles...just that it's certainly NOT for kids!

Nathan R (nl) wrote: Feels like a role Rourke was born to play. Aranofsky's films are always tough to watch but at the same time hard to turn away from, and this is no exception. It explores themes of forgiveness, fame and coming to terms with the past with a tragic script with Randy "The Ram" at the center embodying the celebrity fading from the spotlight
