Woooooh.. and yeah ...thats what you will do after coming out of theatres(not exaggerating.. mind you)..U will definitely get the feeling to visit gujarat if u havent been to that place even once....This movie doesnt fall under any genre if u ask me...Star cast is new to screen...but u'll get a doubt that they aren't new to acting... they have shown such a finesse...They bring on to screen friendship, passion, romance, politics and also some dostana pops at times( surely doesnt offend you) in a very polished way...The entire credit goes to director Abhishek Kapur..Musical scores and BGM are brilliant..(thanx to Trivedi ji). Cinematography is topnotch. It makes the incidents happening in the movie more realistic( remember movie is adapted from Chetan Bhagat's 3 mistakes of my life) .Last but not the least.,thanks to Chetan Bhagat for not messing with media about copy rights( remember 3 idiots incident)... On the whole KAI PO CHE has won my heart and i am sure it wins ur hearts tooo... go watch it and encourage the effort put in... Paisa vasool ... my rating..3.5...

rick r (ru) wrote: *There are no spoilers here-however there may be teases to certain scenes prevalence to the movie's over all effect on the viewer. No statement leads to any obvious details of this movie*"The Barrens" is a psychological thriller/horror film directed by Darren Lynn Bousman and stars Stephen Moyer, Mia Kershner, Erik Knudsen, Allie MacDonald and Shawn Ashmore. The film focuses on a family man trying to strengthen the bonds with with his wife and children by returning to the great outdoors to the place he spent his childhood vacations- The Barrens, home to the Jersey Devil. The film deals with some very troublesome issues that many families face these days- disconnection from one another. In the world of high speed lifestyles and digital personalities there is nothing more alien than those we share blood and shelter with. Sometimes we are aliens even to ourselves in this new global stressed world. So why not get back to nature, back to basics, and back to the birthplace of evil and legend?! A very dark emotional set up that just spirals deeper into the void of despair. "The Barrens" is a double fake out film. It is common in a lot of horror films where the audience is set up to believe then question one outcome of the plot only to have those very answers we seek to be simple distraction as we are lead back into a different synopsis. Sometimes it works in cinema and sometimes it just pisses the movie goer off never to see another film that vaguely resembles the premise. This time it works. There are no major trick story moments where your forced to decide whether what you see is real or not. You clearly know that something is deeply broken in the main character played by Stephen Moyer. What is left up in the air is the question of just how deep those breaks go. Also the film keeps a dark and sinister air about it from start to finish. There is no moment of rest where humor or comfortability takes over the story. It is steady as you go right up until the final tragic moment. The ending is pretty killer in the fact that the whole time you are pointing blame in one direction for the nightmare unfolding, you soon become aware of the truth of the story. Is the Jersey Devil lurking in the thick pines of The Barrens or is it a more natural relatable killer at work? The film is really genius in the subtle way it plays with this "ever guessing" style of story telling because it doesn't force you to think one way or the other. The movie just carries you along for the ride into a chilling thriller. There are no really big scares or shock moments in this film but then again the movie didn't need them. I wouldn't go so far as to call it full on horror but it is a great suspenseful thriller.

Most of the fighters are from Poland, Spain, Italy with a Armenian leader and are Jewish and Communists/Socialists. This just shows that you don't have to be a native of a country to fight for it's rights during wartime. Great cast and production work made it enjoyable for me.

Dietro ad una vendita di lubrificanti industriali in realt si celano tre persone molto diverse per attitudine, visione della vita e moralit che si andranno ad intrecciare e a scontrare.
KJ P (nl) wrote: It may take a while to win you over, due to it's odd tonal shifts and it may be a little predictable, but every sports film has their predictability aspect to them, and I believe that "Varsity Blues" takes advantage of that in the right way. After the quarterback (Paul Walker) is injured, the second string must take over for the rest of the season to lead the team to victory. Sure it's an old tale in the world of sports, but when you have a likeable cast of characters, a fun script, and a soundtrack that will make you smile, there is not too much to complain about. What the film does lack is originality and the cheesy score did not help either, but hey that's the 90's for you. Make of this film what you will, because it will be deemed fun for some and bad for others. On my end of the spectrum, I had a blast watching it, there are some odd filmmaking techniques used, but it all comes down to the overall experience. "Varsity Blues" is a solid football film.

The poor that she attempts to care for are convincing in their selfishness and depravity. Her final resignment is heartbreaking but inevitable. The only drawback may be its heavyhanded approach.

Although The Film Tries To Be Different & Better Than The Original It Falls Flat On It's Face, But Still Manages To Have Some Comedic Touches, (Although Bad But Laughable). A Decent Remake But Like Most Doesn't Get Near To Touching The Original.
