Margarita S (gb) wrote: You don't have to be musically inclined to appreciate this beautifully constructed and thematically rich documentary. I love that it requires us to think critically about what it means to be an artist and how it is we define success. It looks at money and how this fits into the equation. The story is compelling. If you don't know anything about Rodriguez, don't look him up in advance. This is such a well done unfolding of a mystery that you won't want to spoil the end.

Elisa R (ru) wrote: When a Romance film is described, it is normal to employ the traditional line, ' boy meets the girl, loves girl, boy of boy loses the girl... "It is tragic, it astonishes, and especially, he feels so true. We also see how it treats this by cries with the barman, "still strike me!" multiple periods. But when the work of Joe puts added the pressure on him, it judges that the only manner of relieving itself is to become drunk. The years afterwards of Joe really looks at and has one moment of clearness; They * have * with sober top, because to both and us that the televiewers know that it can only become worse unless somebody does something. While they all are large in their own line, they cannot really compare because the core of the days of the wine and the pinks is the history of love which is transformed quickly into triangle of love between Joe, Kirsten and alcoholic drinks. The direction of Blake Edouard is spot-on; It was its first great drama after being recognized for its comic work, but it works of the wonders and obtains -- though unsurprisingly shining -- brilliant executions out of the dregs and the Jack. The music of Mancini of Henry is minimalistic and assignment; in old days of cinema, it was easy to deceive the cords for a dramatic scene, but the points were perfect and once not exaggerated. And the assistances can clearly see that both are in times or the bad one of love, drunk or sober, good. Lemmon jack, like Edwards, was known more for its comic work. It makes to Joe a character sympathetic nerve, and it makes you really the care for him. It is the role of Jack of a life. If it were a young secretary of smiling or drunk insulated, you bought the transformation and each moment in the interval. When the last scene comes around and Joe and Kirsten are confronted with a life-changing decision, the two actors are so good and thus in their roles you can easily forget that they are both which act. One of largest films than I ever saw.

Jason C (kr) wrote: Finally decided to watch this movie. Shouldn't have waited so long. It is a brutal life taking place, and the brutality is not shied away from at all. Some tough moments to watch. The scenery is shot very well helping you feel immersed in the little boy's life.

Nicole T (jp) wrote: Maybe there was some promise in the story at some point, but the film relies far too heavily on the torture aspect, which comes off as lazy writing to me. 2 stars.
