Rob K (ru) wrote: A pretty silly film!

Andrey B (ag) wrote: Great Nicholson's performance. The film is melodramatic and at times poignant. Everyone gets to the point when he begins to think and rethink about his life.

Douglas Edward C (jp) wrote: I thought this was going to be a great movie according to everything I read about it. But it turned out to be one of three movies in my life that I didn't watch until the end. I couldn't stand it anymore. I was bored, the acting wasn't that great, the story moved slowly and jump in time frames. I thought it was a great concept but I just couldn't get through it to make a final determination.

Troy A (ag) wrote: I love this movie. All the stars and the comedic timing was perfect.

Noname (it) wrote: A pretty good drama thriller movie. It has the lovely Kate Beckinsale in the main role so i had to see it. Matt Dillon , David Schwimmer can be seeing aswell in decent roles. Story follows a journalist with "the" top story involving a political scandal but she refuse to reveal her source.. i liked the story and the performances were on top also. The ending had a great finale aswell. This movie is worth a closer look in my opinion.

Jeff T (it) wrote: Absolutely hilarious. When you get home from the office, watch it!

Darrick P (ca) wrote: The advertised plot about an assassin with scruples running and errand for his employer is nothing more than a catch line. The killer (Cusack), while competent at pulling a trigger, shows no real other competence for his profession. It is later conveyed that this profession was forced upon him due to his need for money. The propaganda conveyed in the film is overt, yet completely erroneous. Thomas More's theory of people being predisposed to crime is wrong. People, in general, are too lazy. They are predisposed to accepting hand-outs. The themes promoted by this film in order of appearance are evil people eat red meat, rich people are evil and force the poor to commit crime, and women are less corruptible than men making men more susceptible to evil.
