Leon B (nl) wrote: Review:I quite enjoyed this hillbilly tale of 3 brothers taking a job which turns out to be full of twists and turns. The acting was great by the cast and the storyline was well put together by the director. The different characters made the movie interesting and the storyline is unpredictable and original in some ways. The various assassins which are after the trio were well put together and Billy Bob Thornton made me laugh. In all it's a great road movie with action and a touch of comedy throughout. If I explain to much about the storyline it will spoil the movie so give it a go. Enjoyable!Round-Up:I haven't seen any of the trio before so I can't really comment on there previous movies, but they put in a good performance in this one. I especially liked the brother that couldn't talk, because he was a proper nut case when it came with dealing with certain assassins. The reason why I gave this movie a to was because of Billy Bob Thornton, who usually makes quite good movies but he has seemed to have gone out of the limelight lately. He's not in the movie that much, but when he's on screen, he cracked me up. A Great Watch!Budget: $4millionWorldwide Gross: N/AI recommend this movie to people who are into there action/thriller/comedy movies about 3 brothers getting hunted down by assassins. 6/10
Jarrett M (ru) wrote: Uninhabited is a good looking film from Australia, but it isn't much more than that. The location and the leads are very easy on the eyes, and the cinematography highlights this. The acting is passable, but not great. The biggest shortcoming of the movie is the story. It is a by the numbers vengeful ghost story, except with out any scares or tension. Aside from a couple slightly eerie shots, there isn't much to work your nerves. Only reall recommended for those that love ghost stories, or like lovely scenery with a ghost story. Most should give this a pass, it isn't anything you haven't seen before. Although it may just look a little prettier this time around.

Dan H (gb) wrote: "Fucking witch!"You can tell that there may be a good film lying in here somewhere, but the studio done fucked it up! The film is edited to shit (so many cuts to the present and the past), the characters are unlikable, and the whole thing is confusing. There are some genuinely interesting ideas here (One example: If a group believes in a fictional thing hard enough, can that fictional thing be brought to life?), and the mystery at the heart of the film is actually an intriguing one. Unfortunately, the film throws all the puzzle pieces in a jumbled heap on the table and tells you to get to it. Figuring out what's really going on is just about impossible. It's clear that the group is suffering from severe hallucinations (sometimes even shared hallucinations), and that one or more may be possessed by The Blair Witch at different times. I suppose the simple answer is that the group is slowly being driven mad by The Blair Witch (which begs the question: Was The Blair Witch real all along, or did the group inadvertently bring her to life by believing in her?). Either way, the film leaves you with many, many questions and tons of almost answers (and the film is assembled in such a way that finding the truth is a herculean task). Hopefully one day we'll get a directors cut, but as it stands now Book of Shadows is interesting, frustrating, and maddening. On the plus side, I actually kind of dug the score and I liked the setting of the warehouse.

Will M (au) wrote: A government-commissioned (I think) response to Pearl Harbor -- released, note the date, quite near that event. But there's no need to treat this as a historical document; it's a compelling film in its own right. Very starkly written and acted. Might be the quintessential Hawks film of its decade. Your Hawks-fan-o-meter couldn't be better tested than by the famous deathbed scene (scripted by Wm. Faulkner). If you're choked up, you're a Hawks lover. If you're smirking, you're a heathen.
