Chris B (es) wrote: Don't know why everyone hates this movie, it is very imformative. Everyone pretty much hates Ben Affleck now as an actor (except for Fargo) so he makes a PERFECT villian. Justin Timberlake is the perfect foil, likeable and easy to root for. You can see this happening. I mean IT LITTERALLY DID HAPPEN. Now watch all this Draft Kings and Fan Duel website that are ways to gamble using fantasy football. And now THEY are getting caught for exactly what Ben Affleck gets caught doing in this very movie. Making money on his own website by adjusting the odds and using insider information. How can you not like this movie?

Ollie W (jp) wrote: Horrifying and convincing portrayal of a severely unhinged individual who splits his time between impulsively beating pensioners to death for their belongings, enjoying horribly explicit and unsuccessful sexual philandering and impersonating Tony Manero - of Saturday Night Fever fame. It may offer few explanations, but this superbly shot and wonderfully directed journey into the mind of an intriguing and terrifying psychopath is an atmospheric, addictive and memorable viewing experience. Not one to be missed.

Cynthia H (br) wrote: We loved the acting. To see Vince Vaughn play such a weird charachter was creepy!!

Henry H (es) wrote: great story, direction and acting (Woods is a standout)

Steve W (kr) wrote: A repetitive and gory shock-fest. Lots of scenes of innocents getting mauled by smart infected zombies. They wield weapons and can run, as well as fire guns. Several survivors try to escape. The movie does get boring, after the 3rd or so attack montage it gets kind of stale. Not until the end does it get better, when the protagonists find some guns and do some shooting. Then the actual ending is pretty ludicrous, but oh well.Only for hardcore fans of zombie movies.

Adam R (jp) wrote: Frightening! This movie is too bizarre and kind of freaks me out. There are a couple good songs though, particularly the title song. (First and only viewing - 2/9/2017)

Ryan W (jp) wrote: Granted it has 2 or 3 good scares overall it is a predictable horror film with performances that are emotionless....y...d

Collin P (ag) wrote: Although not completely terrible, most of which I was expecting, Halloween 6 is a pure example of why sequels shouldn't go this far. Mostly because the lack of character development and trying to decipher what the heck is going on is what makes this one so much worse than the others.

Lynne N (fr) wrote: The plot is a little far-fetched, even for Sirk, but that is just one flaw and is easily forgiven. Everything else about Magnificent Obsession clearly demonstrates Sirk's genius - and the movie is filled with the common marks of his work - beautiful photography and use of colour, intelligent symbolism, multiple layers and subtexts and, of course, the beautiful Rock Hudson in a leading role. Not as moving as some of his other works (Imitation of Life will always be my favourite I think), but still a brilliant piece of cinema from one of the best Directors in the business.
