A talented, but distracted photographer, Lola, on the verge of success in both love and work, could lose it all if she doesn't make it to a crucial meeting on time. But, as usual, Lola is late. With her job and girlfriend on the line, she has three chances to make it right. In a desperate race through the streets and back rooms of San Francisco, time grows short-will Lola make it? I'm hoping to find it in its original language "Danish" with English subtitles. But that being said I truly enjoyed this movie. The story was unique. Similar to spiderman. But who cares. 3 stars means I can watch it again.

Clearly inspired by Drive aesthetics, Cheang directs a chase thriller made more of atmosphere and eerie cars emerging from cloud of dust and gas than testosterone, akin to Bullit rather than Fast & Furious. HK and hot wheels are a couple made in even, let's hope to see more of these.

It's simultaneously an indictment of, but also a realistic look into, the world of modern private security companies (i.e. "mercenaries"). A fascinating examination of a world that exists just beyond the veneer of polite society. Grade: B+
