Kathy A (mx) wrote: This is not necessarily a pleasurable film to watch, but it's important. Offering a glimpse into the world of present-day working class Mexicans, set against a backdrop of narcos, corrupt cops, and family issues. While certain scenes are sure to make you cringe, the message is clear. I think it was very well done and the acting and cinematography were fantastic. This is not your Hollywood formula movie.

Ryan R (ru) wrote: The movie was wonderful and great

Steph O (gb) wrote: Feel-good and sad at the same time, "School of Life" is definitely mushy... but it's nice mushy.

Kathi M (it) wrote: I remember watching this one with my daddy when I was a child and it's hilarious as ever. A little too fast-paced and unrealistic at parts, but the hell, it's Jean Reno!

Paula M (ag) wrote: Love the story of Joseph in the bible... The movie is almost attached to the original.

TsaiYu L (gb) wrote: Gets a little messy, and at some parts confusing, but still entertaining about the undercover triads

Darryl (au) wrote: Won't know until the end. The way thrillers are suppose to be. Awesome Movie!!

James R (de) wrote: A visually stunning film from Filmmaking Legend Terrence Malick. Days of Heaven in a nut shell is a film about a hot headed mill worker named Bill (Richard Gere) who kills his boss fighting during work, so he runs off with his girlfriend Abby (Brooke Adams) and his younger sister Linda (Linda Manz). They turn up in a rural part of Texas and work at a farmers ranch for the summer. The Farmer (Sam Shepard) is dying from an illness, but falls madly in love with Abby. Bill see's this as an opportunity to get out of the rut they've been in all his life, so he tells Abby to marry the Farmer, so that they can inherit his money. Abby agrees, but soon finds herself falling for the man that she's suppose to be just falsely in love with. Bill can't take it and soon thing get out of hand. First off the cinematography in this film is outstanding!!! Literally each shot presents itself like its a work of art. Colors burst from the screen (part of the magic of shooting during the magic hours of the day), and the performances really convey the feeling to the viewers of the despair, passion and pain the characters have. I really enjoyed this one and recommend people that appreciate film give it a look!

Ashleigh P (jp) wrote: Tony Curtis and Cary Grant good movie together

Roy C (mx) wrote: Kenneth Anger would make a good interior decorator. The shots of the eclipse and zodiac hovering in the center of the screen are as tantalizing as the gems the gods devour.

Lauri D (ca) wrote: The script just thuds along.
