Daniel L (br) wrote: A hilarious horror comedy with great characters.

Kilo D (us) wrote: What the hell is Ben Affleck doing here? And what a dumb plot, although maybe it's just Ben Affleck. Gwenyth is absolutely gorgeous, though. That's why I wish they had made this with a better leading actor.

Rebecca S (gb) wrote: The latest stop in my quest to be a Kate Winslet completist. It's sometimes very charming and sometimes rather dull but enjoyable overall. And, golly, that KW is pretty.

Ralph H (br) wrote: To me it was the worst Stephen King movie but it had some very comical scenes

Matthew C (de) wrote: How many times will people make the same mistake? You do NOT tick off Lee Marvin, or he will kill you, your family, your dog, and he'll burn your dang house down. This time he's working for the Irish mob in Chicago who have a little problem with a skuzzy Gene Hackman and his big, dumb brother who are running a meet packing and sex slavery business deep in the sweaty, corn fed Heartland. This movie was made during the eight days where Sissy Spacek was kind of cute. And it's charged with some frantic music from awesome 70s maestro Lalo Schifrin. It's an ugly and uncomfortable movie. But it's also really cool, and features some serious butt kicking from Marvin. Not quite to the level of Point Blank, but close.
