Harry W (ca) wrote: Death at a Funeral is one of the funniest films I have ever seen.Death at a Funeral is full of classic British humour, which Americans will never be able to understand, so they tried to remake it, and the remake would suck. That's a guarantee.Doing that is just tampering with a classic, cause that's what this film is. An absolute classic with an exceptional ensemble cast. Most notably, Alan Tudyk gives his funniest peformance ever, and remembering he also can pull off a serious role like in Firefly makes me think that he is gonna go to unknown extents with his capabilities. And uncle alfie, the dude with the weird smile and the dwarf are just altogether the greatest comedic ensemble cast I've eve seen. Seriously, this film should have won best picture at the oscars. But like I said, americans don't understand it, but british humor is the best type of humor ever

Michelle C (br) wrote: the story was good but there's something lacking about the background of the machine. effects, casting, acting, editing and scoring were all good too.

James H (gb) wrote: 5.5/10. Not too bad, but not very appealing and I had a hard time staying interested in it. The cast is there - no one stands out and this kind of film really needs a few outstanding performances to work.

Brian L (br) wrote: Science Fiction before there was science fiction. Is a great story and told only as Disney can.

Ric D (jp) wrote: i just watched this movie again, Liotta and Sutherland are awesome, Keith David and Eli Wallach give great performances in supporting roles, very important to the film.

Daniel M (us) wrote: wow. what a diverse actor. too bad there hasn't been one of those since he died.

Private U (fr) wrote: Before Memoirs of a geisha, there's My Geisha. This movie is wickedly funny. Its funny how Ms. MacLaine is learning to become a Geisha. I recommend this movie.
