The final part of Pasolini's Trilogy of Life series is rich with exotic tales of slaves and kings, potions, betrayals, demons and, most of all, love and lovemaking in all its myriad forms. Mysterious and liberating, this is an exquisitely dreamlike and adult interpretation of the original folk tales.

A testament to being young and in love with all the confusion and heartbreak that entails. The characters are analysed in an almost discomfortingly honest and intimate way. Superbly acted and emotionally captivating.

(kr) wrote: Loved the movie, I am surprised at the 55 percent it was gripping, It was not dull at all. It was great irony and told a great story of the many aspects of family. Family in the gang, family in the barrio, family in jail. I really enjoyed this movie. The acting seemed to get better as the movie progressed. There were so many notable people in the movie.

The storyline for this picture is very good and well executed. The characters and sub plots are entertaining and the acting is very good. Please don't seem nervous."I came across this on Turner Classic Movies (TCM) and decided to give it a shot because it starred the magnificent Bette Davis. She was excellent in this film and the content was well told. This has some worthwhile sequence of events that makes it worth watching once for fans of the classics."Fashions of sin change."Grade: B
(br) wrote: One of my most favorite and probably the least-viewed MGM musicals. It's a feel-good high school type musical. You can't get any better teen sweethearts than Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney. The final version of 'Our Love Affair' is very good with full orchestra and harps. The final scenes hint at slight patriotism with an American Flag and formal naval-style band uniforms. PLUS Paul Whiteman himself. Can't get any better.

(es) wrote: This is one of the most hilarious things I've seen in ages. It's a slap-stick send up of the exploitation era movies, it's got kung-fu and guns, and at just under 90mins long, it doesn't get boring. Brilliant, in every way. So much fun to watch, and absolutely hilarious.
(nl) wrote: Your classic revenge movie filled with some awesome Liam Neeson overreacting. Fantastic!! Comedic with enough action to keep you engrossed, but just pure awesomeness from Liam. :D
(ru) wrote: Starts with the star talking to his camera & continues downhill from there. Yet another Blair witch/ Paranormal Activity type ripoff. Woeful.
(br) wrote: A pretty good movie overall. Kidman and Baldwin play good characters and there are some classic lines in this movie. "You ask me if I have a God complex? Let me tell you something, I am God!" It doesn't get any better than that lol.
