Andrew R (de) wrote: I think you need to be a Gilliam fan. I am. Christopher Waltz is brilliant in this and the film is pure escape.

Keyonta L (jp) wrote: this is a must see especially if ur married and like to play

Niki G (gb) wrote: Wonderful documentary about a few casting directors, most significantly, Marion Dougherty, an unsung contributor to many great directors (many of whom are interviewed). Great doc for geeks.

Brianna L (mx) wrote: So good! So dramatic!

Aswin W (ca) wrote: Very good movie that showed a coming age story. Not all characters had interesting view point of story mainly on the Lolita character rather than the parents. Worth a watch.

Dale R (it) wrote: Had hoped that this was going to be an inverse "Peggy Sue Got Married" (one of the greatest films of all time), with the time-slip (in this case forwards not backwards) rectified at the end, but for much of the film I feared that this was not to be the case ; luckily, (almost) like the Italian Eurovision Song Contest Entry "I can't get no contraception", they 'pulled it off at the last minute'. I would have given this 8/10, but the inclusion of the fabulous "Love is a battlefield" by Pat Benetar raises it to 9. A keeper.

David S (mx) wrote: Murphy shows some of his original classic acting in here though his new turned-down acting can be visible from time to time. A movie that has some satirical moments which become works of genius.

Anni H (mx) wrote: Aussie surreality and strangeness at its peak. You will never feel the same way about the film 'The Sound of Music' again after seeing this film. Trash treasure.

King L (mx) wrote: Last of the Superman movies that feature Christopher Reeve. In this film Superman tries to bring about world peace by eliminating all nuclear weapons but his archenemy Lex Luthor tries to thwart him. Reeve is very good in his role as Superman but I found that even he couldn't make it interesting. I found this movie quite dull. It's not as bad as the third but not as good as the first.

Andrew I (fr) wrote: Quite well made, well acted, well written but rather lacking in fun. A story about a Japanese prison camp in Java is necessarily quite miserable, but there just isn't much let up with this. There isn't much "Christmas" about it and virtually no "Merry" at all. Although Conti, Bowie and the Japanese actors do their best, the end result is rather miserable and missable. I'm not even totally sure what it was all about. 7/10

Richard L (mx) wrote: This is Jonathan Demme's (you know him from Silence of the Lambs and Philadelphia) first movie... produced by Roger Corman (the living embodiment of cheap knock-offs and exploitation movies). The storyline is about women in prison subjected to arbitrary abuse who try to escape. The characters are interesting because the prisoners look and act real, and the prison staff is highly atypical. Even though there are a few nude scenes, they are not even remotely arousing.

Sam R (es) wrote: A good idea for a plot mostly goes to waste due to unforgivable performances from all parties involed. The cast isn't done any favours by the cringe-worthy attempts at witty dialoque. This movie is lucky it had Anna Kendrick in a slutty dress for a solid half-hour, because it honestly didn't have much else going for it.
