Joe H (ca) wrote: Incredible new take on the Christian film genre. Not only filled with relatable humor and terrifyingly accurate Christian stereotypes but also managed to pull the story together in a convicting and Biblically satisfying way. I am incredibly impressed with everyone's performance in this film and was literally in tears whenever Johanna Braddy (Callie) began to testify to the importance of having hope in Jesus alone. I recommend this film to everyone but especially Christians who want a Biblically accurate yet fun and enjoyable movie.

Sislt tarjoaa sitten vastapainoksi kahden tunnin verran sen sortin "tosi-tv:t", jotta kofeiinivarasto kannattaa olla tankattuna ennen leffan katsomista. Ainakin jos meinaa jaksaa loppuun asti.

Itamar K (mx) wrote: An excellent piece of character study, which benefits from excellent performances - especially Dustin Hoffman of course, but also Gary Busey, Harry Dean Stanton, M. Emmet Walsh and Theresa Russell (also watch for a young and attractive Kathy Bates) - but suffers from some major pacing problems. If you can keep up and not lose interest, you might get a very interesting movie.

John K (kr) wrote: I enjoyed this: a decent enough story (including one bit that really did surprise me) and lots of funny scenes. I also liked Tinkerbell's new costume, which looks a bit warmer and more durable than her original outfit. These films remind me of the "Jennings" novels: she makes mistakes, then gets into deeper trouble trying to fix them, but ultimately she faces the consequences for everything. It's just a pity that her (female) friends didn't have much to do in this film, but hopefully that will change in the next one.
