Trent R (es) wrote: This is an actual movie, and surprisingly no one seems to mention that the martial choreography is by Mike Stone. He's a Grandmaster who trained alongside Bruce Lee as an equal to Joe Lewis and something Norris. Not that it's a good movie, but it is very entertaining. The dialogue is intentionally laughable, and the fights are purposefully comic for the most part. However, there is an energetic efficiency and realism to them that you didn't often see at that time in co-productions of this sort. It does take an hour for the protagonists to make it to 'Warrior Island', and even then the premise is barely realized. But this is great remake fodder, and dumb fun that's perfect for a drive-in or midnight show as is.
