I did not see this coming, and I think that's why I liked it so much!John dies at the end is a film style trash with secondhand budgets he can implement his idea of a very intelligent way. Especially with your very crazy plot, the scenes so common as a small talk or a character trying to show something to the other become something extraordinary. The part I liked this film was his pike, which never stops. It begins in a voice-over that may seem clich, but the things that were dropped in your face make you think, calm man, I have not prepared my popcorn yet!If you have early, and do not have anything interesting to watch on Netflix, get ready for this film.

Tim Burton's new film hasnt released yet. Well Done Abba went in a week from all theatres. Hyderabad has bad taste when it comes to movies. Good movies are taken off to make way for blockbusters, not even giving a chance for the box office to pick up. This blind greed is depressing. Multiplex owners will never learn, or dont care about the real multiplex audience. LAst night a large audience of young people turned up to see Tum Milo To Sahi at 11pm bec thats the only show there is. Why isnt that segment also worth catering to? Arent mutiplexes guilty of blocking the slow but sure change in Hindi movies?

Mark B (jp) wrote: Long, drawn out scenes hinder the HELL out of scenery and texture that this film sorely needs to make up for being SUCH a downtrodden fable. Filmed in "Artsy" black-&-white only made me that much more angry to watch, considering 5K, HD television is available now. I stuck with it to the end solely to get the trope payoff of having Depp get some vengeance or SOMETHING at the end of this; but, alas, it was NOT to be. Do N O T waste your time...even if there's nothing else on cable.
Jacob G (ru) wrote: While I tend to watch Japanese anime (and other foreign films) in the original languages with subtitles, I picked the dub for the sole reason that I was absolutely amused at how the DVD case has Junkers saying "Call me YOON-kers!!" and figured that the English dub would probably highlight that better than the Japanese version. It isn't a great dub, but thankfully most of the main characters are decent. Next time I'll definitely watch the subs and see if that improves the feel.Voice acting issues aside, Junkers Come Here is perhaps Japan at their most Disney-esque. Sure, Studio Ghibli (and Hayo Miyazaki) are frequently referred to the Disney of Japan, and their films ARE amazing. However, the comparison works best in terms of quality and popularity moreso than actual tone or looks. (That said Junkers is nowhere near the quality of SG/Miyazaki.)As far as the story itself, it is both familiar and expected... but some nice ambiguities and some excellent supporting characters help propel it. (Possible spoiler alert ahead) I do have to wonder if the directors thought about how the theme of the story could be interpreted in one tragic, unintentional way: using up all of the wishes on your magical dog will transform him into a normal dog. And who wants that??

Nicholas G (us) wrote: Some people compare Rain man to Forrest Gump but I like this movie more even though it is not as popular. This movie largely rested on Dustin Hoffman's performance and he delivered. This movie is about a character named Charlie Babbitt(a very good performance from Tom Cruise) who learns that his father has died and thus expects to inherit his rich father, he soon learns that all he inherited is his dad's price roses and finds outs that he has an autistic brother he never knew about who has the taken the lion's share of his father's riches. As the the movie progresses, the brothers' relationship continues to improve little by little.
