(gb) wrote: Quite honestly this was an exeptional film... it that truly showed Brad Pitt's acting range early on in his career... Duchovny was excellent... Juliette Lewis & Michelle Forbes were great as well.

(ca) wrote: The earliest Abbott and Costello horror-themed film. The pair are gas station attendants when they witness a high-ranking crime boss gunned down. Upon disclosure of the dead criminals will, he has bequeathed his worth to whomever was with him at his deathtime (that being the comedic duo). Others are attempting to get this wealth from the two slyly, and use spook tactics by creating the appearance of a newly inherited haunted hotel. Sometimes the jokes fell flat or were too obvious, so it wasn't on par with some of the later more enjoyable efforts. It did have some god routines that I hadn't seen repeated, so it is worth a watch if you enjoy them.

(ru) wrote: Cold...and way too real for a _[genre characterization omitted]_ . If you know what this movie is all about, you'll probably see it all coming, and that'll probably ruin it for you...but if you're just sitting alone in your nice quiet home with HBO playing in the background, and you just got rid of some crazy chick who was riding you way too hard, and this movie comes on...it will slowly suck you in, and before you know what you got yourself into, you'll be left with no escape. It'll be over when she says it's over.

(au) wrote: Point Blank is fast and entertaining, but the plot is a lot thinner than the chase scenes that clog up the film, preventing real emotion and investment in the characters unfortunate circumstance.
(br) wrote: Here they waste the talent of many a fine actor and your time.
(gb) wrote: A teen comedy masterpiece. A beautiful cast, tasty hilarious jokes (Particularly from Seann William Scott as "Stifler") and characters that are just so undeniably lovable.
