Millo T (de) wrote: With wonderful characters, it is a tribute to the comedians, to the people we love and that love us, to surviving despite all. Very good actors, music and plot. It reminds me -with its differences- to one of this Graham Greene novels where politics are mixed in the life of a main character which thinks more in its personal affairs. Also, a great tribute to the best clown in the history of Spain.

David L (mx) wrote: its not Soderbergh's finest, nor his worst. Jeremy Irons impersonates Kafka well, and captures the milieu of Prague in the 20's. Ian Holm and Armin Mueller Stahl, well, they are just veteran actors that you'd enjoy seeing in any film

Bill B (jp) wrote: This was the second half of a DVD double feature and I wasn't sure what I was getting into, but it turned out to be a very watchable murder mystery set in Saigon during the Vietnam war.Worth a rental.

Eric W (de) wrote: If I could actually LIVE in a film...it would be this one. I was so obsessed with this film as a child that I actually recorded all of the audio directly off of the TV during one it's countless HBO airings. I would take this tape along with me on family trips and basically "listen" to the entire movie! I wanted to be on Harold's "Blue" team so bad! I always identified with the villains as a kid. FAGABEEFE???

Joshua R (it) wrote: Another good Noir. The pacing for this one is pretty unusual. One character died much quicker than I was expecting with another lasting much longer than I thought. Has a pretty good femme fatale .
