Armando P (it) wrote: Beautiful movie about love and technology.

Darryl H (ca) wrote: Quite disappointing. I should have known as soon as I saw Woody Allen's name as the Director. It's the same rambling crap that ALWAYS appears in ANY movie in which Woody Allen has even a token role. The cast were really constrained by the dialogue and direction by the petrified Woody. Please don't waste your time by watching it.

Joshua L (es) wrote: Strange movie with some fun characters.

Jerry H (de) wrote: good flick, great cast

Stella D (au) wrote: moving very slowly from one blackout scene to the next, beautifully shot in the candlelit rooms of various brothels of the 19th century, flowers of shanghai explores the intrigues of 'flower girls' or courtesans, sold as children into a life little better than slavery. there's alot of drinking, gambling and opium smoking and the film requires a good deal of patience. i probably need to watch it again as i felt as though i had smoked opium myself afterward

Dann M (fr) wrote: Captain Ron is a hilarious cult comedy that delivers a ton of laughs. When Martin Harvey inherits a yacht he takes his family to the Caribbean to claim it, and hires Captain Ron, a local seaman, to help him learn to sail and get the ship seaworthy. Kurt Russell and Martin Short lead the cast and deliver great performances; Russell in particular does an outstanding job with the role of Captain Ron, creating a tremendously charismatic and fun character. At times the film is a little formulaic, but for the most part the writing is fresh and puts a new spin on the family vacation comedy. Outrageously funny and incredibly entertaining, Captain Ron delivers a ton of laughs in this high seas adventure.

Jason C (jp) wrote: Shame this twenty-sixth and final Zatoichi film couldn't have been just a little better. Not bad by any means but a real let down after Zatoichi's Conspiracy, which was one of the best of the series.

Ricky G (ru) wrote: comic book artists used to get reeeeal excited when someone with a camera would show up to interview them.

Ryan H (br) wrote: It's not as good as the original, but Steve Miner's direction is strong, and Jason makes for a much better villain than his mother. Most of the acting is good, and the kills are just as gruesome as the original.

William M (jp) wrote: Good movie, solid revenge plot well acted and directed set in or around London and about a young offenders prison. Violent in prison fight scenes more realism then some can handle be warned. Not for everyone but for those who it is for it is very good.

Rochelle B (gb) wrote: We thought it was very good. It was a period piece about a famous actor who had a preference for very young girls. It was interesting and very well acted. I would not recommend it to young children as thy would find it boring. We liked it a lot and think you will as well. Dakota Fanning was perfect in this role and so was Kevin Kline and Susan Sarandon.
