(ag) wrote: This conclusion to the SG-1 storyline is good but not great. I'm always a bit iffy with time travel storylines and this one felt a little too similar to the episodes Mobius 1 and 2. Still, the cast were great and it is always great to see SG-1 in action. Especially since the series ended. It felt like an extended episode of the series. Which is fine by me! (24.10.10)

(fr) wrote: definitely not better than the first one In my opinion, but it was a guilty pleasure growing up. Like the first Ducks movie, it inspired me to want to play hockey again.

(es) wrote: Plodding fantasy-adventure has the Man of Bronze searching for the Valley of the Vanished, and the hidden riches therein. Star Ron Ely looks the part, but the film celebrates its hero as if it had been made thirty years earlier (and 'Doc' was still as popular as he was then). Imagine what "Raiders of the Lost Ark" would be like if it were filmed like an episode of the '60s "Batman" television show with sound work from a "Hercules" movie and music from a college football game. Bizarre 'comedy' abounds - the villain's stooge sleeps in a giant crib; another character carries a tiny pig with him everywhere he goes. Look for Paul "Breakfast Club" Gleason as Amazing Five member "Long Tom" Roberts!

(mx) wrote: A perfect hybrid of sci-fi, action and dry, deadpan comedy. What makes this movie genius is the fact that it's shot and directed in such a way that it could stand as a serious sci-fi mystery without the comedy; the hilarious comedy is simply a bonus. Barry Sonnenfeld is a genius.
(ca) wrote: Filled with laughs and happiness, but at the same time it has some truly wonderful emotion. Every character gives the performance of a lifetime, making the audience feel happiness, heartbreak, and love at the same time. A romantic comedy/drama that all ages and genders can watch which is very hard to say for most romantic films. It has a thoughtful well-paced plot with plenty of relatable themes and memorable scenes along the way. This is the type of movie you could watch over and over without getting tired of it.
(es) wrote: Kneel before Zod! Seeing fights with heroes and villains crash through buildings is something the 90's missed. Up till that point 1980's Superman 2 was "the" superhero movie that others could only attempt to match.
