Rebecca Ryan has been working as an undercover agent for the Organised Crime Division (OCD) posing as a taxi driver, while investigating London's south-side mob. When she finds her young daughter Lynn brutally murdered she fears her cover has been blown wide open, so she turns renegade and begins a brutal campaign of vengeance against the mob she believes killed her daughter. As she trawls the seedy depths of London's underworld hunting down her daughter's killers, the lines between good and evil, right and wrong begin to blur as do her notions of justice and revenge. It falls to the world-weary OCD agent Darius Cuise and his newly-assigned, hot-tempered partner Abby Barrett to track down Rebecca and bring her in before all hell breaks loose.

What's most fascinating about the film is how some of what one would consider the biggest plot moments are off-screen, and we only see the emotional aftermath to them. The weakest point is that some of the side relationships never make it past their symbolic value.

The film follows three boys who find themselves in more trouble than they bargained for when they meet a woman who is soliciting sex. This is a bold, bold film. Especially when it pretty much parallels the whole Westboro situation going on today. Not many filmmakers would tackle this type of film, but leave it to Kevin Smith to be brash enough. Acting wise, everyone except John Goodman and Michael Parks is pretty much disposable, but these two are pretty good, especially Parks. Pacing wise, the film jumps right into things, but that's one it's biggest faults. It gets too wrapped up in keeping things kinetic, it literally throws away an entire side plot and skips the character development. We barely get to know any of these characters before their time runs out. In terms of story, like I said, this is bold material. However, it certainly feels like there are times when Smith decided to go off about religion or government. And these scenes are immediately noticeable, because they are the least natural and break the flow of the film. When it ends, the viewer is left with a conflicting piece of dialogue that pretty much sums up the film. I won't spoil it here, but I will say that there was supposedly an alternate ending where the trumpets and horns meant something, but I'll let you figure that out and decide if that would have been a better route to go.

This is a must see, for both the movie itself and the soundtrack (particularly "Destination" which is a horrible song). I can't even believe this exists, I also can't believe that Mastorakis has made more movies. Somebody allowed it? How?!
