Badhuset

Set in the WWII era, the story tells of a boy in a small village who befriends three girls around his age. One day he discovers a young couple sneaking into an old and cracked bathing shack and decides to alert his new friends. When the kids join up at the shack, the eldest girl comes up with the idea to lock the couple inside, threatening not to let them out until they "do it" and allow the kids to watch from the outside. And so begins the psychological warfare...

Benjamin J (ca) wrote: I don't like either the Demonic Toys nor the Puppet Master franchise. I watched it to see how bad Corey Feldman can get- and this was an all time low. I don't know who was worse- Corey Feldman thinking that all one has to do is appear old is to put on a bit of a gruff voice, or the make-up/costume department who thought that he'd look like an old man if they put some white stuff in his hair.I could have made this film. On my own. And without any puppets.

Rico F (ag) wrote: This one certainly has the ingredients for a near classic. I am a huge fan of Samuel L. Jackson. I am also a huge fan of Ben Affleck. Put the two together and you are bound to have a very good movie on your hands. This one goes along with that formula. A powerful performance by both leading actors accompanied by an interesting and compelling plot and you have a movie that should not be missed. Similar to 'Sliding Doors' in how fate brings the two characters together. Don't hesitant, go out and watch this one.

Stuart B (jp) wrote: I can't remember this film very well but i have a slight memory of it being a thrilling tale with a great performance by the one and only Kiefer Sutherland

Nathan H (gb) wrote: More of a romance than a true gangster movie, but there are plenty of the "gangsterist" moments to place in that genre. The movie is shot well, making the story seem bigger than it actually is. The film is slow at times, but the story of how this psychopath became the visionary behind what we know as modern Vegas is pretty interesting.

Iceman (kr) wrote: This was one of my favorite 80's movies that I had watched with my father. I was always the outdoor person who spent days and days in the bush. I couldn't believe as I grew up how many people didn't even know about this movie.

Ian R (es) wrote: Definitely Bakshi's most straightforward work, it's also the most tightly animated and sweeping. An epic of American life and music that holds up well. Not really like his other work, but still good

Lee W (au) wrote: Definitely drags at some points but overall I found it to be entertaining and funny.
