EWC o (fr) wrote: Awesome lightning and direction, and a truly gritty feel to everything

K W (br) wrote: Great cast, great performance by all. Definitely worth renting for this great story and great connection with characters and family. Just great!

Hollywood H (es) wrote: Too long but was good

Emma J (de) wrote: I really liked Coogan in this but overall this is just not a great film, it's sort of funny but not enough to really get me in stitches.

Jjune N (ru) wrote: One of the funniest comedy movies I have seen

Mayank A (mx) wrote: Decided to give it a try seeing so high ratings was disappointed. Seemed like a nice plot with the suspense feeling in the beginning but went downhill pretty fast, corny and predictable story line. The camera work with the extra focus on the eyes was so irritating,in trying to be too artistic it lost it's way.

Rob M (us) wrote: I am reading book four of the books. I almost stopped after stumbling upon this piece of garbage. Wow it is bad.

Robert H (it) wrote: Omar Epps played and boxed very well. I expexted more from Meg Ryan, it feels like she have lost the touch of acting, I wish she was "stronger" and more expressfully, which I know she can. One of my favorites with Meg is "City of angles". I didn't really get the ending of this movie. ps: I LOVE the leather cloth Meg used several times during this movie, it fitted well on her :))

Greg S (au) wrote: A young woman's life unravels when she has an abortion, then a few days later hits a pedestrian with her car and flees in a panic. MAELSTROM is not for anyone seeking a traditional narrative: it's an arty, surrealistic, impressionistic portrait of guilt, narrated by a fish telling the story with his last breath as he waits to be gutted and turned into seafood.

Madison S (ru) wrote: saw it along time ago but it was good.

Troy F (gb) wrote: Above The Law helms Steven Seagal as a cop that won't back down from taking on a drug cartel after the FBI mysteriously orders him and his unit to back down. This is Seagal playing the tough, unstoppable force that made him an action star, but unlike many of his later films, he shows off some genuinely fine acting chops that shows a real drive and genuine concern for the issues explored in the film, and this film isn't just some dumb action-driven plot either. This film has a grounded plot that may seem cliche at first, but delves deep enough to feel justified and worth telling as something simple is revealed to be linked to so much more. Andrew Davis would go on to direct The Fugitive five years later, but his competence in filmmaking shines enough here, even if it isn't terribly memorable. It is one of Seagal's best films if that counts.

Emily M (gb) wrote: I HATED this movie. Worst movie I ever spent time watching.

David L (us) wrote: Although too boring at the beginning and often silly with some very juvenile sequences, Dragonheart is nevertheless an engaging and even charming movie with a beautiful score, excellent effects and warm ending. It would have been much better in animation and some casting choices here are quite questionable, but it is nevertheless a quite solid entertainment with its fair share of memorable and endearing scenes, great visuals and inherent charm.
