MF J (ca) wrote: D sign with this second film a great Giallo film with suspense, beautiful enigmatic women and a memorable score by Ennio Morricone. Once again the photography / cinematography is very interesting and some of the ideas used in this film for the narrative elements are very cleaver and have been used ever since by many other directors. The idea to have a blind man and a little girl as the one leading the investigation with a journalist is very interesting and quite rare in films. I really enjoyed the costumes, the sets and locations used in the film. The talent of Argento resides in his elaboration of he shots and the way he builds up tension in scenes. This film is definitely a classic and deserves a good viewing.

Three Royal Navy cruisers take on a much more powerful German pocket battleship off the coast of South America in December 1939. The film faithfully shows the humanity and mutual respect of the naval commanders on both sides.
