James H (it) wrote: Decent military drama, a bit overlong, but watchable. It has some romance and action thrown in for good measure. Pretty good performances. It's just blah.

Gabriel K (jp) wrote: Visually it's a masterfully made movie. Unfortunately, it drowns itself in too many subplots, none if them fully reaching its potential, and eventually it becomes too drawn out and incoherent. It was quite a chore to sit through the entire thing, i found myself struggling to stay awake in the last third.

Soraya N (it) wrote: Only see this if there is nothing else on at the cinema that you like! Poor acting!

Alexander Z (jp) wrote: Loses steam by the end. I think in an effort to make this a psychologically absorbing film, the runtime was extended a little too far.

Brendan P (it) wrote: I never thought I could like a Thomas Ian Griffith movie as much as I do this one. I know it's sad, but it's true this one is just good old fashion fun. Griffith is even bearable as a DEA agent who crosses paths with an FBI agent (Tia Carrere) while trying to take down a criminal mastermind (John Lithgow) attempting to organize the mafias together. The shining star in this otherwise average B-action movie is Donald Sutherland as an eccentric hitman who's hired to kill the agent but eventually teams up with them instead. His charisma and pure goofiness keeps you eyes glued to a flick one would normally not look twice at. Trust me it will surprise you. Dumb fun, but fun.

Scott B (us) wrote: Watched this on Netflix last night. It was very cool. Japan Anime is like nothing else. Story was a little too short. But from what I read it was supposed to have 2 more parts that were never made. Main character was like Japanese version of Buffy, only a lot less humor. Still very cool.

Alex G (us) wrote: Very rarely does a sexploitation film hold its narrative together well and have so fun without being truly sexist. It's a fun film that brings to life the imagination of (what feels to be) a sexually excitable 13 year old. Bizarre creatively, but fun to the very end.
