Abb J (ca) wrote: The Autopsy of Jane Doe: This is a promising yet eventually disappointing story about father and son morticians who are asked to perform an autopsy on a body discovered near a gruesome crime scene, who gradually discover that their subject is at the root of something truly sinister. Although buoyed by horror packed with more chills than gore (despite the realistically gruesome autopsy visuals), the film suffers from cheesy dialogue, a prop cat that is so fake the set designer should have been fired, and lagging pacing that would have greatly benefitted from some editing. Ah, such promise ruined by a lame ending. (On Amazon and iTunes) C

Nicki M (ag) wrote: Liked this mostly. Very interestingly filmed and looks great. I particularly like the part where she drives around Tokyo in the taxi. The opening scenes in the club are also interesting and leave you wondering exactly what's going on. Once she meets the elderly gentleman, it becomes a little less intriguing, but I still liked it. My complaints echo others - a little too abrupt to end and would have liked a little more tied up or explained. For example, did she sort her life out? What happened to the old man at the window? However, I get that this is more art than blockbuster, and like real life, maybe didn't have a clear ending or resolution.

Thomas S (gb) wrote: Genuine performances here bring out inspiring themes. However, I am not a road trip person. So when a movie like this is 20% "inspiring story" and 80% driving, I have a hard time being satisfied with the hour and a half I spent watching it

Mike L (au) wrote: Inbred rednecks with the obligatory grotesque son kidnap a couple hiking in the woods to give them a fresh DNA line for their disturbed family. It is boring, predictable, and never rises above the fourth sequel of any standard slasher flick.

Ruhan R (es) wrote: Pretty average. I thought it could have been grittier but I guess that wasn't what they were looking for. It seemed like it couldn't decide between comedy and drama, it seemed lacking on either side. Decent acting, fine plot and characters, but it just came out lackluster.

Wesley W (es) wrote: Awful movie, full of dumb dumb stupid jokes and really bad performances from australians that are hard as hell to understand with their horrible accents and from the leads as well. Filled with dumb jackasses making retarded decisions and such pointless scenes that lead to nothing except stupidness and groansville like the retarded talking kangaroo in the dream scene and the end of the movie. Basically just 1 hr and 29 min of retards screaming and going after a cgi kangaroo.

Jeffrey M (us) wrote: Drew Barrymore is awesome in this film as a girl who had a hard life and meets and ex-con who brings her down a bad path. A great drama film with class.

Al L (br) wrote: a good kids movie...but not really for adults.

David S (ag) wrote: Incredibly moving doc about the enormity of the loss of life from AIDS. Made in 1990, the film still convey a sense of the small moments of grace and the overwhelming heartache experienced by just a few of the loved ones of those represented in the panels of the quilt.

Cesar C (us) wrote: A very silly, somewhat witty, light romantic comedy. While the movie is stuck in a moment of history (clearly wouldn't endure as timeless) even if you are not familiar with the decade it still manages to make you laugh all along.
