Jacob P (nl) wrote: This movie was just as bad as the orignal film...didn't catch my attention with very few scares...and just so you know, the company (The Asylum) copies all the famous films like Paranormal Activity, Snakes On A Plane, and Even Titanic...But this one was a disapointment.
Samuel T (ca) wrote: River of Darkness is a b-movie horror starring professional wrestlers who are Kurt Angle, Kevin Nash, Psycho Sid and Ray Lloyd (also known as Glacier). This film is set in a small town in America who have recently been having mysterious and brutal murders by the keys. Former WWE Champion, Kurt Angle plays the town's local sheriff who ventures deeper and deeper into the supernatural history of a man called Hix. The only reason why i watched this film is because I am a huge fan of pro wrestling and I have seen other films featuring wrestlers. Kurt Angle's acting is diabolical, Ray Lloyd plays an unimpressive role and Kevin Nash and Psycho Sid star was the ghoulish killers in which you only see their face for a total of around 2 minutes of the whole feature. The special effects are awful and the storyline could take intelligence of a ten year old to write. Overall, I rate this film onestar. Avoid this, there are far better films starring wrestlers such as Wrong Side of Town, Road House, Highlander, Spider-Man and Beyond The Mat. Thanks for reading.

Every problem seems very natural, yet a few I wished hadn't happened because I was cheering on those characters during the TV series and wished they didn't have to go through the events here...Either way, if you're a fan of the TV show, you'll treat this like a string of really long episodes. Nothing new is added to the mix - but nothing new was really needed.

Jorel D (mx) wrote: I didn't want to see this one... because I thought it would suck... just the title is not one that catches my attention. I gave it a go during some lunch hrs at work, and found it very entertaining, packed with action and solid story to balance the entire movie. Crime movies don't do this anymore... yet Get The Gringo is one of the few.
Ian M (nl) wrote: Wow... The first half set it up alright. Then badly acted with shite effects & really bad acting cannibals (nearly as bad as the main actors)... Just shocking! But for the acting? Not the content. Cannibal Holocaust is needed to be watched instead. This is just an awful pile of shite so steaming you will whiff it very quickly!
