Brendan N (br) wrote: One of those undiscovered little gems that offers twist after twist. If you go along for the ride you'll follow a twisting storyline that begins to unravel with each death. Each death puts the remaining characters in another tight spot. Good for a quick time filler if you are chasing something interesting.

He discovers a unique opportunity to right his ship when a doctor contacts him to assist with an experiment. Shortly after meeting the doctor, he quickly transitions from being an assistant to the experiment to becoming the actual experiment. Adam is brought back to life in a monster of Frankenstein style. "I've never actually met him. I just do what his emails say." Philip Chidel, director of Far from Bismarck, delivers Subject Two. Chidel is also credited with producing and writing this picture and he also has a bit part in this movie. The storyline is nothing special but the settings and cinematography is outstanding and well selected by Chidel. The acting is less than mediocre, Chidel is horrible in his role, and the cast includes Christian Oliver, Dean Stapleton, and Courtney Mace. "Head trauma doesn't stop things, it just slows them down." This was a unique take on the Frankenstein storyline and the settings are beautiful. However, the acting was dreadful and the final sequence, while clever, was delivered poorly. While I do recommend giving this a viewing if you're a fan of the genre and potential content, it is nothing special overall and not really worth your time. "Pain is necessary." Grade: C-
