Nada Recomendable. 3/10

Matt Damon debutes as the greenhorne bluecoat and narrates the story about the hunt for Geronimo (Studi). Jason Patric plays solid as Lt.Gatewood assisted by Robert Duvall as his scout. memorable lines of Duvall when campaign stumbles on massacred natives;"..must be (done) by texans, the lowest lifeform on earth..."

(mx) wrote: A shock film with shades of just about mediocre slasher you've ever seen, most notably any involving Ed Gein as a major influence. Yeah, there's a mommy angle to it. It's entertaining and the lead actor is delightfully insane.
(ru) wrote: I had no idea this film dealt with child abuse - in any way. I almost walked out when I saw a young girl's uncle go into her bedroom and climb into bed with her. I'm glad I stayed, but those initial scenes are extremely difficult to watch. But then Mackenzie met the man played by Bruce Greenwood. The beauty of Alaska is stunningly beautiful! As to the character played by Greenwood (Rene Bartlett) I wish all men were like him - at least insofar as how he treated a 14-year old traumatized young girl. Very good movie!
