Brian R (es) wrote: Acting wasn't the best but I thought the plot was actually pretty good. I liked the way the plot twisted to a very revealing ending. Better acting and Directing and it would have made a ten but I gave it a 6 1/2 maybe 7.
montana D (ca) wrote: Norbit is a comedy/drama genre. it is about a mild-mannered guy, who is married to a giant wild women. after crazy adventures, and a lot of discouraging fights, he tries to call it quits. He meets the women of his dreams again 10 years down the road. the same girl he falls in love with is the same girl that was his best friend in the orphanage that they shared. He schemes to find his way back to her. This movie itself is a hilarious movie but has some bad aspects about it. the movie has a lot of vulgar scenes and a lot of racism. I recommend this movie to kids 18 or an older and an audience that has a since of humor.

Janet C (mx) wrote: I saw this movie once a long time ago but somehow forgot almost everything except for its brilliant name. How I could forget such a fun movie is beyond me. On the surface, it may seem a bit over-the-top like its colorful settings, but the story and the depiction of women are actually very real, even sad. That's what Almodovar is best at.
Senor C (jp) wrote: An unwarranted grindhouse version of Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds. None of the style or tension but what it lacks in actual craft it makes up for in gruesomeness. Since it has no craft & story telling in has to rely on bloodletting & if that is all you came for then peck away. I think they really missed the boat on this bird gone amuck theme by having most of them be seagulls & pigeons (w/ the occasional hawk). Probably because they are the cheapest & the most easily trained. In one scene they go to a exotic bird sanctuary but there are no attacks. If there was a moment when flamingos were on the rampage this would have been something a little special & would bump my rating. Missed opportunities
Jadrien D (nl) wrote: The urge to get up out of my chair and go outside was never within me so strongly while watching a movie as it was for this one. The entire film was shot from the inside of a single barracks taking place during Vietnam... which was unique for sure, but it made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I'm not totally sure that was the intention of the movie; whatever it was, I didn't like it.
