Darren G (es) wrote: Pretty bad acting but lots of gore

Ryan J (au) wrote: While it does have a very unsatisfying ending and could easily lose about 20 minutes in the middle, Yellowbrickroad is still an interesting and creepy as all get out. The scenes of violence are horrific in a particularly disturbing way, as they occur sandwiched between fairly mundane circumstances. The first violent altercation easily stands as one of the most horrifying scenes I've witnessed in a long time. Overall, not a bad movie and worth watching; if you want to turn it off 3/4 of the way through, though, you won't regret it.

Steve R (kr) wrote: A fun follow-up to the original.

Rakesh M (de) wrote: Being a huge fan of Julia Roberts , I simply could not afford , not watching this film. she won Oscar for this and I always knew that it was a long coming. there is this some quality about her and the way she portrays her characters. I always fall in love with her. she is "the" actor for me. my all time favorite and I hope that she wins more Oscars as she is well deserving and very dedicated star.

Andrew R (ru) wrote: An interesting thriller with a unique idea and plot.

Alexander M (jp) wrote: Like most Sci-Fi/Fantasy film noir, conceptually interesting, in execution pretty underwhelming.

Jonathan S (jp) wrote: An animated fantasy film featuring stock footage of the Third Reich and elfen nip-outs. Bakshi was one weird dude. You gotta respect this madness on some level.

Michael H (us) wrote: Straightforward and melodramatic story of jealousy and possessiveness masquerading as love. Beautiful Technicolor cinematography of lovely people and places lends a hint of post card picture artifice to the whole endeavor. The sort of thing one might expect as an indie release these days but a rather startling - and startlingly successful - film from a major studio in the 40s.

Eric P (ag) wrote: Loved it despite absence of flubber glavin.

Paul C (mx) wrote: A terrible misjudgement and a smear on the face of the classic Sidney Toller films of the 30's. Ustinov is fine as Chan - but the supporting cast have little in the way of comic ability and the script is woeful at best

Ocram I (es) wrote: 67%Had they picked another actor for the role, I would have found this decent at best.

DC F (es) wrote: Great 1980s action flick and though most of the movie dealt with Remo's training, it was still captivating.
