. You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

David T (br) wrote: This should be the favorite film of a pre-teen to a fifteen year old boy. Of course they'd have to wait for the folks to fall asleep and catch it on late night cable, or the house of a bad influential friend that possesses a copy. This film has video game like violence, zombies, and strippers! And yes, you see bewbs. Now for a maturer mind, what do you expect with a film with this title? Really? It doesn't take itself serious although it's not campy as the title might promise. It's sort of the middle. I was expecting this to be a film that Troma would be proud to distribute. It's an alright film. I'll admit that there were more than a few chuckles at parts.

Despite it being a terrible movie in basically all aspects, there are things about it that you cannot help but like. For example, the ball player who loves big women, Matthew Lillard, and Biel's pool scene. If you don't care about baseball or a smokeshow in a bikini then do not bother with Summer Catch. 3.5/10

Loved the black and white segments about black and white race relations. I don't care what anyone says, but Elliott Gould sucks at acting.
Benjamin W (au) wrote: If you can make it through the 220 minutes of this minimalist masterpiece, you find that the first sixty minutes set up a baseline of pure monotony and mundane routine, which just makes the descent into madness on the part of the mother that much more interesting.
Trey L (ru) wrote: Darren McGavin is once again perfect as antagonistic reporter Carl Kolchak. The pacing and story aren't quite as good as Night Stalker, and there are many moments of deja vu, but it is a solid thriller with a great supporting cast.
Donald W (de) wrote: Good Song Bad Movie. This is movie is one of Elvis Presley's bad movies from the early 1960's. The only hit song from the movie was the title song. They only used it three times. It's used once in the opening credits, once about two thirds of the way through and then in the closing credits. It's a musical with the character's singing for no reason. They do show Las Vegas the way it was in the 1960's before all the old hotels were torn down. Ann-Margret looks good. The story has two parts, the love triangle between Elvis, Ann-Margret, and Cesare Donova who plays an Italian race car driver, and the car race at the end of the move. It's a typical Hollywood car race where everybody crashes except the hero. Somehow Elvis with out any money enters a car and wins the race. In the real world car races are sponsored by several corporations that plaster their ads all over the cars. This movie is just a musical fairy tale.

Brian B (ag) wrote: It is not hard to see why this is considered to be one of cinema's greatest movies ever made as this movie hits every element perfectly. After a wealthy newspaper tycoon dies, journalists scramble to find out the meaning of his last word "Rosebud". Then we see the history of his life and everything he encountered throughout it.The acting is magnificent. Especially coming from Orson Welles who in my opinion gave one of the best performances ever put on screen. But every other actor offers something great to the movie and not a single one of the main actors did a weak job acting. They all gave strong performances.Wells direction is terrific and he is able to use basic elements to craft something truly brilliant with this picture. His work behind the camera is immaculate and it brings the viewer into a truly special experience. This movie is engaging from the very first scene. Some people may not like the talk heavy dialogue but if you like slow paced movies (which I usually do) then it shouldn't bother you. This movie has stood the test of time. It has aged well and it shows no sign of losing popularity. Is it one of my favorite movies of all time? No, but the reason it gets a 10/10 is because of its impact on cinema and how much it contributed to it. The only American film which comes close to topping this masterpiece is "The Godfather".
