Frustrant.

Johnny B (jp) wrote: Season of Miracles is a good family film about a little league baseball team that befriends a kid with autism. This changes all of the kids' lives on the team forever. Starring John Schneider, Grayson Russell and a cast of talented actors bring the story from Rusty Whitener's novel to life. Cinematography is engaging and the Americana music sets the mood throughout. Definitely worth seeing with the entire family.

Nate A (fr) wrote: I was ready to like this movie, since the title comes from one of the two Japanese songs I can sing at karaoke. Here is the plot, beat for beat:- Girl band needs singer- Girl band finds singer- Girl band practices and gets better- Girls all really get along- Girls play concertThe EndNow, what's missing here? Oh, that's right. CONFLICT! No arguments. No egos running wild. No self-doubting. Just 2 hours of people being nice to each other. I can't think of a more shoddily made movie in recent memory. Not even the nostalgia of teaching in Japan could make this movie worthwhile. Avoid at all costs!

Becci F (jp) wrote: A lovely, heartwarming though bittersweet comedy drama that underlines small town ignorance and a child's imagination. I liked this very much and felt quite sad at the end.

Jun Z (us) wrote: Visually stunning film, cinematography and direction was solid, well acted. Very beautiful film, subject matter is risque, as can be expected.

Lene (it) wrote: I saw this movie in 2007 and had mixed feelings. I liked what the movie was about and it was really low budget but it's not something I would recommend to anyone.

laura b (au) wrote: Wasn' a bad film but it started out really boring. And only really got interesting towards the end, the plot was good it just needed more action.

Ryan A (jp) wrote: What I got to say about "Grease 2" is that it's a okay of a movie. The performances by the cast is great. The directing by Patricia Birch is good. The screenplay is fine. Cinematography in this movie is good as well. Choreography is outstanding. And the score in this is good. Now the only negative problem that I have to report is for my opinion, there are some moments in the movie that slows down and take a little bit to pick the pace back up.

Allan C (kr) wrote: The first film to win a Razzie! Olivia Newton-John is some sort of etherial rollerskating muse for Michael Beck and Gene Kelly to open their marvelous roller disco. With music by Newton-John, Electric Light Orchestra, Cliff Richard, and The Tubes and a bizarrely out of place animated sequence by Don Bluth, the film is a terrible mess, but in the best sort of way. I think I really liked how the film's music and aesthetic was place uncomfortably between the end of disco and the rise of MTV pop music videos. And by casting Gene Kelly (who apparently did the film because the shooting locations were close to his home) the filmmakers did have a grain of a good idea by of birding the classic Hollywood musical with contemporary music videos, but it all gets lost in bizarre music numbers with lots of neon glowing special effects. But beyond ironically enjoying the film, I do have to say the Kelly, in his final film appearance, manages to still exude his usual charm and screen charisma, and although I don't really consider myself a big fan of musicals, I do always enjoy watching Kelly dance. I also found it kind of fun that Kelly's Danny McGuire character first appeared in "Cover Girl" where he co-stared with Rita Hayworth. Kelly is such a Hollywood icon and and such a great actor and dance that his final two films should have been a whole lot better than this and "Viva Knievel!" It seems hard to believe I actually gave the last film I watched, "Disco Godfather," was actually better than this.

Ken S (us) wrote: The third entry in the "Up" series showcases the subjects of the series now grown to the age of 21, and this is where the series really starts to get interesting. The most interesting is Neil, the happy bubbly kid from the first kid who is now a young adult who is squatting in a house and living job to job, clearly not in the best situation. This series is so interesting, such a unique idea for a documentary series, to see these people go from 7 years old kids on into adulthood.
