(ca) wrote: Interesting movie, good watch. Weird at times, and a tad slow moving, but an okay movie. It wasn't all that bad. Good performances all around. Shows how money, greed and ignorance can initially screw you over, big time.
(au) wrote: Funny little satire with a good cast.

(gb) wrote: The cool thing about Darkman it is a classified a superhero film without being based on a comic book, it feels like it could have been. Liam Neeson does a great job playing a well-mannered and good man, who is utterly and completely losing his s#it. The movie's got a great style to it, it's dark, kinda bizarre, and kinda comical (This does have the same director as The Evil Dead trilogy) With some great music from Danny Elfman, who also did the score for Burton's Batman movies

(ru) wrote: Not a bad movie but not a great one either. It had some interesting moments. The acting was decent but the story line was a little bit slow at first. I drifted off to sleep a couple of times watching it and had to re-watch it. As a thriller it could of been a little bit more 'Thrilling'
(gb) wrote: Cute, but not as amazing as I'd hoped coming from the pen of Carl Reiner and Larry Gelbart. However, the bubbles gag is hilarious.
(gb) wrote: About as edgy as a melodrama can get. It's not a bad story to follow, nor is it an invigorating one.
(ru) wrote: Wow, this was even worse than the shite horror film it ripped off called "Darkness Falls" that came out three years earlier. This one was not lacking in gore, but it was lacking in pretty much every other aspect of the film. I honestly don't even know why I watched the entire movie... thank goodness it didn't cost me anything, sometimes having "Scream" really pays off. Stay far away from this filthy beast.
