Edgar R (ca) wrote: I was immersed and what a world to be in, like literally I was in the movie.

Trond V (ca) wrote: Briliant, just brilliant.. not to mention unusual and unpredictable.

Mike B (gb) wrote: This movie is so boring in high school I made out with a girl that was "out of my league" the entire time. It's like a scene from DieHard W/vengeance. But just one scene that goes on forever without getting anywhere. Super frustrating but it will still always have a place in my heat as the worst movie I've ever paid for. Rocky owes me $7.95

Justin T (mx) wrote: A bit misguided but Rourke is solid.

Thrall T (kr) wrote: Based in the 1960's, there is a teenage girl, living with her mother sister, just trying to survive. Starring Cher and Winona Ryder, this movie shows you the life of Charlotte Flax (Ryder) as she moves to a new and tries to get her life back together. When Charlotte falls hard for the care taker for the church across the road from her house, her mother, Mrs. Flax (Cher), starts a rocky relationship with a local business man. With a strong character like Charlotte and an appropriate amount of comedic relief, this movie has some great perks. But as we all know with perks, come flaws. Joe (the caretaker) is not a well put together character. I also believe they could have gotten someone else to play Joe. Another flaw is that Mrs. Flax has a pretty inappropriate love life, especially for a mother of two. Overall, I would rate this movie a 4 out 5. If cliche 90's movies are your cup of tea, I suggest you grab some popcorn and watch this movie.

Ken S (jp) wrote: Some FOOLS capture the Creature From the Black Lagoon, the Gill-Man, and bring him back to Florida to essentially be a Sea World exhibit. But he doesn't take kindly to captivity and being tortured by ignorant jerk scientists...and he decides to escape and recreate plotlines from the previous films...such as becoming sexually attracted to a human female and trying to kidnap her. This sequel is average, I wouldn't say it is awful, at least it tried something new by taking the Creature out of his native habitat, but it isn't great either. Admittedly, when the Creature escapes and starts to create can be kinda fun.

Drew R (mx) wrote: At times a bit hard to swallow, but otherwise average story about a father's love mixed in with some disabilities and great acting.

Hywel T (nl) wrote: An absolute classic. I can't think of another better film; everything from the acting, photography, script, direction, music and location. It is so perfect that like a good joke or great sex, trying to rationalise it is probably pointless.
