BatmanRobin (it) wrote: I'm sad to give this review, trust me. But this movie was bad. As someone who is addicted to comics, loves the Teen Titans dynamics and characters, this movie was annoying. 2 of my 3 favorite characters ever are in this movie (Damian Wayne and Dick Grayson), and that just adds to the pain (Don't be fooled, Damian is barley in this movie). This movie crams too many subplots into the minutes that it has. Blue Beetle's family, Dick and Kori's relationship, ect. I forgot about Brother Blood all together at one point, and he is portrayed as this paper thin one-and-done villain. The movie itself doesn't stick to the source material as much (which some is acceptable, simply because of things already in this universe) but when it does, it seems out of place and VERY creepy. (Terra and Slade) Overall, if you are a DC fan, watch it once every ten years, but other than that, SKIP.

Richard B (au) wrote: Ezra Miller is great actor in addition to have grown up to be pretty hot. Anyway, in Afterschool, Miller is a nobody kid at a prep school who accidentally videotapes two popular girls die overdosing on tainted cocaine. As the school goes into damage control trying to shake out all the drugs, Miller starts to act erratically believing he is under surveillance. Surveillance, public image and acts of watching are huge themes in movie. Apparently a lot of people don't care for the slow pace of the story and static camera scenes. I could write a book on why every shot matters. I think it's brilliant.

Tanya L (jp) wrote: great/ok but not as good as hsm and camp rock, far from it. but the lead male isn't bad looking ratin and saw this movie about 1 -2 months ago when it came out

Little B (us) wrote: Essentially a fairy tale with stereotyped characters and the typical moral growth. The beautiful photography, costumes and sets make it very pleasant.

Marta K (ca) wrote: Something by Bunuel that's more like a comedy drama than a surrealist comedy. Engaging, funny and still thought provoking.

probowl 4 (gb) wrote: Mel Gibson alone makes this movie worthwhile with his smartass charisma. The storyline is also interesting enough to keep you in tune throughout it's rather short run time with fast but logical pace. 'Get the Gringo' is certainly an underrated piece within Mel Gibson's long list of filmography/
